OMG! Where has THIS stuff been??

    By on

Baby Snu here. So far, everything Against The Grain my Hooman Mommy had caught and brought home for me (that is how she does it, right?), is so delicious that some mornings I wake her up just to have her open the can. Especially if I know it’s going to be THIS one.

    The Big Flop

    By on

I have two inside and one feral that I feed and the GF has the brother of my two inside cats. None of them would eat this, even the wild child walked away.

Good For Diabetic & Cat That Wouldn't Eat Canned

    By on

One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of months ago and does well with Halo Turkey & Duck Grain-Free Indoor Cat Food (canned), which is just about zero carbs. I'd been wanting to get all of my cats eating more canned, as it's much healther, but one wouldn't have anything to do with any canned I've put before her the past three years. A successful first step to this was to buy the Halo Freeze-Dried chicken treats, which is marinated chicken breast meat that you moisten to release the aroma and shred. She likes them alot. Those treats are pricey and aren't an appropriate substitute for a balanced meal, so I bought the Big Kahuna Crab & Tilapia and mixed it with the Halo treats One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of months ago and does well with Halo Turkey & Duck Grain-Free Indoor Cat Food (canned), which is just about zero carbs. She's starting to eat the Big Kahuna without the treats mixed in. So great to see! This specific Big Kahuna product is zero carbs, so that's another reason it's healthier for her. And if my diabetic guy gets into her bowl, I don't have to be concerned with him getting unwanted/unneeded carbs. Great product; glad I found it. … more

    Cat wouldnt touch it

    By on

I was really hoping that all the reviews were accurate, as they all said how this was great for picky eaters (my cat recently got diagnosed with diabetes, and we had to change his diet, and he hasn't liked it that change one bit). My cat wouldn't go near it. My other cat would eat it, but then would throw up this nasty dark bile. So i stopped it all together.

Cats are NUTZ for Against the Grain Crab & Tilapia

    By on

I have owned cats most of my 53 years on this planet. NEVER have I experienced the absolute, unquestioning, enthusiastic feasting at mealtime like I do with ATG! They run to their dishes, go face first, and scarcely come up for air , until it's all gone. Stuff smells so good, I'M even tempted to eat it!My 14 yr old boy with sensitive tummy, and my 1 1/2 year old little girl, AND my sister's indoor/outdoor wild man (also 14) ALL love every flavor they have tried. Amazed, grateful, happy kitty mama in Virginia says thank you for keeping my cats healthy & happy!

    cats like it

This is the only wet food one of my cats will eat, so does that make it great? The texture is good and good balance of solids & moisture. The other cat eats it too but she is less picky.

I have very finicky kitties who turn their noses up at most cat foods. However, they immediately took a second sniff and ate this product! Thank you!

My cats weren't crazy about this.

    By on Top 500 Contributor

This turned out not be too popular at my house. I used to have a cat that loved it, so I thought others might like it. That doesn't mean yours might not like it, though. Cats are just so picky.
