Description

Make mealtime fun and engaging with the Aikiou Interactive Dog Bowl. This unique feeder is a contemporary twist on the traditional slow-feed dog bowl that requires your pup to forage for his food–just as he would in nature–by spinning the rotating lid and sliding the “toecaps” to reveal the hidden paw-kets of delicious food. In addition to slowing down his food intake to help prevent bloat and maintain a healthy weight, the mental stimulation also reduces boredom and anxiety while increasing physical activity and problem-solving skills. It’s made with food-grade, BPA-free plastic and is dishwasher-safe for easy care and sanitation.

Instructions
  • Contains several compartments and parts that allow your dog to play and seek his food while interacting with his bowl and food. This allows your dog to express his or her natural search for food needs.
  • You just need to hide the food in the 14 different compartments. your dog will need to use his paws in order to “dig” to find the hidden food. This will slow your dogs eating speed and have him “work” for his food. This makes lunch time much more fun for him.
  • Using treats to block the carousel, your dog need to remove the treats to let it turn. Also, a unique system lets you adjust the movement of the toecaps by just removing and rotating them.

  • Very inventive

    By on

Our lab still gets excited about "finding" his snacks. We put dog food for a small dog in the compartments for him to find and he loves checking every compartment at least three times to be sure he has discovered every crumb. That's his treat as we leave for work so he doesn't give us the sad eyed look. Lol

  • Makes eating fun!

    By on

Both of my dogs absolutely love this item. My male dog always got really bored when just eating from a regular bowl, but now he has a lot more fun eating! It's not too difficult for the dogs to figure out, but it gives them more of a challenge when they eat. This item is perfect for high energy dogs that need a bit more mental stimulation in the day! It acts like a foraging toy, so they feel like they are working for their food. Overall, this product has really made feeding my dogs a lot more fun for them, while pacing them so they don't eat too quickly. It's also very durable! I'd highly recommend this item.

  • Interactive Feeder

    By on

This interactive feeder has accomplished the task of slowing my food gobbling dog down so he doesn't bloat. We have many to switch out and challenge his ability and this one hits the top mark. Easy to clean, easy to fill, it has added the the right amount of challenge to slow down my chow hound.

  • Didn't work out

    By on

The concept was nice but after about four days of use and three incidences of getting his nose caught in the spin section i walked in on my boy slightly shivering and scared of this bowl. He is a terrier mix. The top gets caught up and understandably it's not supposed to be super easy, at times it spins back and that's where he gets caught up. The toe section he easily dislocated the tops so that became somewhat useless.

  • Treat dispenser

Durable. My dog is too smart for her own good and after the 3rd time she's a pro at this it still takes her about 2 min to get all the treats out

  • The Paw Dish Slows Gobbler!

    By on

Our beagle/something mix gobbles food so quickly we can barely sit down to our dinner, before he’s ready to beg! We’ve tried other dishes, but this paw dish has been a great success. He figured out how to get the food, but it keeps him entertained and eating with some breaks. It is sturdy and easy to clean. Oh, and Webster likes to pick it up and carry it around. Give it a try to slow down your gobbling pup!

  • Not muzzle friendly

    By on

The concept is good in theory however my dogs 1) 10 wk old Australian Shepard 2) 3y Cattle Dog can't not get to the treats inside. The compartments are too small for their muzzle to get in and get the treats; adding to it the compartments are too deep. My pups were able to figure the puzzle out but once the food was exposed they still couldn't get it out so they just pulled the sliders completely off and flipped the bowl.

  • Fun and efficient

    By on

I bought this mostly as a way to hopefully slow my dog down from eating too quickly. It certainly does that, but he also enjoys playing with it to get at his food. He figured out how to move the compartment covers pretty quick, so there was no worry about him not being able to eat.
