Description

Make mealtime fun and engaging with the Aikiou Junior Dog Slow Bowl. This unique feeder is a contemporary twist on the traditional slow-feed dog bowl that requires your pup to forage for her food–just as she would in nature–by spinning the rotating lid to reveal the hidden paw-kets of delicious food. In addition to slowing down her food intake to help prevent bloat and maintain a healthy weight, the mental stimulation also reduces boredom and anxiety while increasing physical activity and problem-solving skills. It’s made with food-grade, BPA-free plastic and is dishwasher-safe for easy care and sanitation.

Key Benefits
  • Unique, innovative bowl makes mealtime fun and engaging by simulating natural foraging behavior.
  • Small, confined spaces require your pup to use her tongue and muzzle to reach the food, slowing her intake to help prevent bloat and maintain healthy weight.
  • Provides mental stimulation to help reduce boredom and anxiety while increasing physical activity.
  • Made from food-grade, BPA-free polypropylene plastic; dishwasher-safe for easy care and sanitation.
  • Available in three fun colors and recommended for small to medium breeds; holds up to 2 cups of food.

    MY PUPPY LOVES IT!

    By on

I just started using this with my puppy because he eats so fast he burps a ton and I don't want him to get sick. he loves food and toys, and this is a perfect combination for him. He usually eats in less than a minute but this takes him at least 5-10 minutes to eat. I love that he is getting mental stimulation with his meal. His tail wags the entire time! I would recommend trying it out.

    Too easy for this pup

I have a nine month old Australian Shepherd, after having the bowl for three days, she figured how to get the top off and get the food inside.

    Definitely did not work

    By on

My Malinois is way too smart. In less than 5 minutes he figured out how to take the top off of the bowl. Not just flip it and make the food fall out but actually took the top off then proceeded to try and eat the bowl after he was done with his food. Would not buy this again. Might work for a dog that isn't this smart

    Seems to enjoy it!

My dog scarfs down her food if you just put a bowl of it in front of her. She finishes it all in less than a minute. I was looking for some sort of slow feeder that would make it more challenging for her to get her food and also be fun. This definitely fits the bill. She seems to love it.

    Works OK for puppy

    By on

I got this for a puppy that inhales food. It does make him take longer, but he's also able to get the top off which then defeats the purpose. Since he also knows there's something covering the food, he's constantly scratching and biting at the feeder so little bits of plastic were coming off and being eaten. It has some rubber on the bottom too but he's still able to slide it around, and was even able to flip it upside down one time to dump out the food.

    Top comes off too easily

    By on

My dog uses her claws and teeth to rip tge top off then jist eats out of the bowl. Lid is very flimsy. I think shed have less likely done this if the lid was heavier

    Bad food bowls

    By on

Not big enough. Dogs chewed them to pieces first day. Should be zero stars.

I was looking for something to keep my dog busy while i was at work, so i got him this to keep him occupied. He had it cleaned out before i could walk out the door! Disappointing.
