I bought the purple mouse for my cat's Christmas gift. It's true what other reviewers say about the holes in the mouse being too small for regular sized treats, but I just broke a temptations treat into tiny pieces because they are light and crispy so it is easy to break up, and it works great. It also works to break up a semi-moist cat treat too. She can now easily get treats out as she paws it around.

My two cats love this toy! The holes are too small for treats to fall out, but I'm going to try breaking the treats into smaller pieces, but either way, the treats inside keep the cats interested longer. My cats love it without treats in it, too. It's kinda bouncy and they love tossing it around and carrying it in their mouths. Big hit with my cats!

My cats lost interest quickly. I think this is because the Greenie treats I put inside are a bit too big for the holes. Perhaps smaller treats or bigger holes or a more determined cat?
Kittens toss it around!

Toy is still in one piece. Soft and rubbery but the kittens had the tail chewed off or pulled off in 2 days. They love tossing it and carrying it around.

Holes are very small. Only tiny kibble or treats will work with this, but it is a cute food puzzle.
Rubber Mouse Toy

Andy loves this little rubbery mouse. Only issue is that he is not able to get at the tid bits inside because of the construction. It is all I can do to get at it with my fingers. The opening is far too hard to manipulate. He still plays with it a lot though so it is still a good toy.

The toy didn't dispense food- the holes are too small to dispense Friskies treats and even too small to dispense Blue Wilderness dry food kernels.
There is a large hole on the bottom, but in order to get food out the plastic must be manipulated quite roughly- my cats ignored these and I ended up throwing them away.
My cat ripped this apart in 3 days
on Apr 4, 2018
This toy only lasted me 3 days, I noticed the tail had been dismembered by the second day, and on the third day, the rubber had been chewed through to the point where I couldn't even hold food in it. I threw it away and will probably purchase one made of harder plastic.
Nice, Soft Plastic

So far - my cat hasn't figured out he's supposed to try and get the treats out of the mouse (I may need to use smaller treats.) When I opened the bottom to "plop out" a few treats to demonstrate to him - he freaked - thought the mouse was "pooping" I guess and then wouldn't have anything to do w/the treats. It takes him a bit to get into new things. The bottom opens like one of those old rubber coin clams which I like even if Vinnie's a bit suspicious of it.
A Mixed Pleasure
on Feb 17, 2018
My cat, Jaws, enjoyed this item TREMENDOUSLY. He carried it around growling at the other cats, as if he had a real kill. He enjoyed it so much that the second time I filled it, he had torn through some of the crossbars, and the third time, it was torn in half and the tail was gone. I suspect that some of the pieces are going through him at the moment. I will indeed buy this again, but it will be a holiday pleasure, like a rich cake.
