Worth buying!

Love this item! Fairly easy to assemble, good quality. I bought 2 and connected them for 6ft of space my turtle seems pleased with her upgrade. Smells like fresh cut cedar. I shop a lot online and this was one of my most satisfying purchases.

Love this enclosure!

I Love it! Easy to put together. Used a screw driver. Easy peasy. This will be my hatchling enclosure while I build a custom tort house. Mine came in perfect condition. The smell isn’t bad, I kind of liked it as it smelled like damp pine or cedar lol it went away after a few hours. Torts love it!

Do not buy this product

The plastic on the side was broken when we got it. Definitely poor quality. I would like my money back because this is defiantly cheaply put together. I thought this would be a better quality tank.

Awesome product!

We are using this to house baby chicks. Perfect and the cost is so much less than a small chicken coop!

Amazing habitat!

I bought two of these for my box turtles and they LOVE them! The two separate rooms are great.. no need for logs so they can escape the heat lamp anymore, they just hide out in their dark bedrooms now! There are boards that twist to hold the doors up for feeding and cleaning which is very handy. The "living room" area is large enough to house a large size water dish/pool, light basking area and food dish. The only thing I would change is that the separation wall doesn't go all the way to the plastic liner at the bottom so the substrate gets pushed out when they try to burrow.

Smells Good Easy Setup

One feature was both a Pro and Com, the soft wood (that smells so nice), it made assembly easy but there were splits and splinters before I even started. The protective vinyl on the viewing window was apparently applied before fixing into the side of enclosure and had to be cut out with a razor rather than peeling off easy. I'd actually give this product 3.5 stars.

One of the best

I've tried 3 different houses and I like a few things and dislike a few things about each one. This one was decent to put together, but getting the plastic off the windows was a huge pain. It smelled strong out of the box so had to let it sit for a week or two. Other than that I like it. The window part is a great feature. The screen is sturdy. The lids have things to hold them up. The latches work nicely. The house itself is sturdy and nice looking. We are getting another one to attach to it. I will try updating my review once that's complete.

Poor Quality Control

We purchased a second tortoise house because the directions and photos said that you could connect two of these together (and they come with the connecting hardware). The problem is the second one was 1 1/2" shallower and 1/2" shorter that the first one. Obviously could not be connected as advertised. If you are ever planning on adding a second, save your money and but from another manufacturer.

Perfect for our Tortoise

This was slightly confusing to put together but I figured it out. I have a larger tortoise so I was nervous it would not be large enough for him. It is plenty large, and I like how wide the entrance is to the smaller area, so he can fit very easily. I also appreciate the attachment to hang the heating lamp on. I'm very happy with this house for our Speedy!
