This cage is great for dwarf, syrian, roborovski, crittertrail hamster, mouse, rat, gerbils, sugar glider, hedgedog and other small animals.
Can the play wooden accessories come out of the cage so that you can remove them?

The pieces are held in place by screws in the back. You can remove them if desired or leave them off when assembling.

Good size for Guinea Pig. Great for one a little cramped for two.

Not hedgie friendly

Sry to say but this is a huge NO for a hedgehog! I found it pretty simple to put together with some help, but definately not enough room for a hedgehog who needs an exercise wheel, room to play, and that needs much space for bathroom and toys, with food and water bowl, etc...

VERY SMALL

The cage is very small and the shelving is not meant for a hedgie. They are too narrow and far apart. He cannot climb the different levels. He also cannot run his laps at night. May be good for a teddy bear hamster but was a waste of $ for our hedgie. I would NOT recommend for a hedgie.

Not recommended

The design is horrible. First while putting together, instructions were not clear and predrilled holes didn’t line up. Each level overlapped so much I couldn’t even put two of the shelves in because it would completely block the path to make it even passable.

Great hamitat

This is a great affordable home for a small pet. Lot of room for your small pet to run around in. Easy to clean with the pullout tray. Assembly was easy. There are no per drilled holes at can make the wood split. I recommend per drilling all holes before screwing together.

habitat hamster

I would have to say it’s cool for your mice but if you having a hamster that loves to big space and to play on a big extra large wheel/large well you might decide of getting the next bigger habitat on chewy I will put the name for you small pet lovers
