Alaska’s marine habitats are extremely clean, and environmental contaminant concerns are low. Because Alaska is thousands of miles away from large sources of pollution, these distances, combined with the Earth’s patterns of circulation of water and air, help to ensure that Alaska’s waters are among the cleanest in the world. Be assured, the State of Alaska’s Fish Monitoring Program includes robust sampling and testing of the various species native to the waters around the state that is representative of the fish caught for our products (such as wild Alaskan pollock, salmon, and cod). The manufacturer routinely tests the oils they extract to ensure the safety of the material prior to making pet supplements.
Does this have an expiration date?
Answer by • Feb 19, 2022
The expiration date is printed both on the bottom of the bottle and on the back of the individual retail box. The oil should be stored in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight and avoiding temperatures above 86° F. It is not necessary to refrigerate the oil; the exception to this is, during the summer months (especially for homes which do not use central air conditioning), and temperatures exceed 86° F.
This designates it's for dogs. Is it okay to give to cats?
I wish the pump worked better: the last one leaked consistently, now this latest bottle we just purchased the pump doesn’t work at all. For $30 purchase price I expect better. Only recourse is to try to transfer oily salmon oil some other way, not ideal!

Great stuff
I have a Belgian Malinois and she plays hard. She kept breaking her toenails below the line, leaving blood everywhere. So I googled trying to find something to make her toenails stronger, and they don't make anything specifically for that. But this said it really helped their skin and their coat so I decided to try it, and it has made a huge difference in how many toenails she breaks! I'll be keeping her on this.
