The manufacturer routinely tests the oils they extract to ensure the safety of the material prior to making pet supplements.

The expiration date is printed both on the bottom of the bottle and on the back of the individual retail box. The oil should be stored in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight and avoiding temperatures above 86° F. It is not necessary to refrigerate the oil; the exception to this is, during the summer months (especially for homes which do not use central air conditioning), and temperatures exceed 86° F.
