Inedible...
By Christina on Mar 24, 2021
My dogs literally eat their own poop and refused to eat these soft chews. They were recommended by our vet, so I assume they must work. But you have to find a way to get them down first...

Recommended with reservations
By Jonell on Jan 28, 2021
I've been giving one of my dogs Alenza for a couple of years because my vet recommended it. My dog seem to have an immune deficiency. I guess it works ok, but I would prefer something similar from a company other than Bayer, because they own Monsanto, which produces Roundup.

Vet Recommended
By FurMom14 on Dec 4, 2020 top100Contributor
Recommended by my vet for aging symptoms—stiff joints, soreness, inflammation, etc. They come in chicken flavor to be fed with meals. Both my dogs like them and I like that they're made in the U.S. It's too soon to comment on any benefit but I'm trusting the vet's knowledge and experience.

might work if edible
By Charcoalsmom on Oct 28, 2020
I tried really hard to convince my dog to eat these. Upon opening the bag, I was hit with a chemical smell. Apparently my dog smelt the same because I had to work hard to convince him to eat them. I had to crumble them and hide them in his food and still, he was reluctant to chow down. In an attempt not to waste $60 I took them to my parents house to give their two corgis. Neither one would eat them either. One tried but just spit it out. Work on the palatability of the chew and maybe I would repurchase.

Help for Seniors
By horsenut on Feb 8, 2021
My senior husky mix was having trouble on stairs and getting in/out of car. This has helped him be more active.

I recommend but....
By Leah on Aug 13, 2020
These have not helped my 11 yr old Sheltie with advanced arthritis in both elbows. It is also rather expensive. I keep buying it on the outside chance it may be helping with her discomfort and I am just not picking up on it. I bought this on the recommendation from a book I wrote on canine pain control written by a vet. I wish I had tried this product 8 yrs ago since she evidently was born with this condition. We rescued her at 3 yrs old and did not know it.

Need the support but...
By Emmmmmm on Aug 13, 2020
Even my “living garbage can” saves this supplement till last. I’ll still buy as there’s not a exact comparison and I also know Boswellia is hard to cover the taste of. They do work, if you can get them in your friend.

Dogs won't eat them
By CEMORR on Jun 22, 2020
They were suggested for my 13 y/o Blk lab/Corgi mix. She took one, spit it out and turns her head when they are offered to her. Out of six dogs, 4 are seniors and only one will eat them. I'll opt for the pills next time as these are expensive and the dogs won't eat them.
