Can the bottle be replaced with other brand water bottles?

This bottle and hut set is designed for use with the included wide-mouth plastic bottle which holds 80ml and includes a large ball-point tube cap assembly.
I love this design. Do you have one that a hedgehog would fit into? 3 or 3 1/2 inch diameter opening?

This 2-in-1 Water Bottle with Ceramic Hut is perfect for guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats and gerbils. Be sure to measure them beforehand to ensure they fit in the opening.
In the images, it looks the yellow one says hamster on the bottle and the blue one says mouse. Is there a size difference between them?

This hut measures 4.3 x 3.1 x 6.25 inches and weighs 8.8 Ounces. There is no variation in size between the colors.

Not for rabbits

This is super cute, and I wanted to love it, but it sits way too low for my bunny to drink from it, and it doesn't hold nearly enough water for the day. Would be perfect for pet rats, gerbils, or other very short and small animals, but definitely not a rabbit.

DOES NOT DISPENSE

Does not work. Super cute, and my hammie loves hiding in the base, but the bottle does NOT dispense water. I noticed the day after I put it in that something was off. I immediately switched her back to the old bottle.

Doesn't dispense water :(

Wanted to try since the hanging one we had been using for our gerbil is a little bulkier and would drip sometimes. Found this and thought it looked perfect, skimmed the details and thought it sounded perfect. Sadly though I didn't pay enough attention to the reviews saying that it doesn't work. Kept an eye on it, and sure enough, the next morning the tip had dried out and it wasn't dispensing water. So now he's back to using his old waterer. Not a total loss though because we took out the bottle and he does likes to use the base as a hiding spot/tower.

Water bottle holder

I love this concept but it doesn't work for guinea pigs. My guinea pigs knock it over despite the weight of the ceramic holder. It doesn't hold much water. It just wasn't ideal for my situation.

Great for hamster

This is well made and perfect for hamsters or gerbils. I hoped it was larger for my Guinea pig. My Guinea pig is small and thought this would be a good fit. The product itself is very sturdy and has weight to it so not to fall over. I will be donating mine to happy hamster.

Doesn’t Dispense

It’s cute and everything for robo hamsters for the hut idea but the water dispenser doesn’t dispense. The only way it worked was when I took it out to kind of shake it. I noticed when they tried to drink out of it and the water wasn’t moving. Poor little guys are dehydrated. I don’t recommend as a dispenser.

This water bottle does not work, my little hamsters tried so hard to get water out of it. Wasted money.

This item is for a Mouse or smaller

This item is for a mouse or something smaller. Water storage is very small and is not for small dogs, even Maltese pups

Great until it almost kills your hamster

It does not look at all defective. It looks exactly as the picture shows and it’s even cute. My hamster loved it especially the little hut under the bottle. I didn’t notice anything wrong until 2 weeks ago my hamster started to get aggressive. She has always been feisty but this was primal rage she was showing. She would attack anything and everything. She wasn’t running and then she started to sleep all day. Fed up and worried i investigated every little thing in her cage. Once I got to the bottle I noticed that although it was full of water. None came out when left untouched. It wasn’t until I moved it that water came out and once my hamster drank some the water stopped flowing again. There is literally nothing wrong with the item, it just doesn’t work. I’m devastated that this entire time my hamster has been suffering and I was pushing aside thinking she was just moody. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The way that this water bottle is situated it does not dispense water. I tried and tried to get it to work but once you put it in the holder it stops working. I wish I read the reviews first.
