My 16 yr old chorkie had started having accidents before we could get him out. We were having to keep him contained to the kitchen to avoid rug and carpet accidents. I felt horrible doing that. I looked to see if chewy had diapers for male dogs. (I had never needed anything like this before and was totally unaware of all that is available) I got these and it has made everyone so happy. He wears the xtra small and they fit him perfectly!! He is happy to wear them and is free to have run of the house again.
I was gifted 3 packs of these for a recent foster Pom that is a medical case with a new diagnosis of diabetes. He has been shaved in a lion cut and his penis is always falling out of these when he has been curled up sleeping then wakes up, rendering them useless, because his diabetic bladder can pee a river. Not to mention if you do not get them on super tight he can walk his skinny hips right out of them. I've washed 3 dog beds, my entire set of bedding in the 3 days he has been here due to poor design and tins of leakage issues. When they have held his wink in they still leak as it is on the paper edge not the absorbant part. The belly/genital coverage area should be wider. There has to be something better out there. Glad they were gifted, now to attempt to find a better fitting product.
I didn't notice any substantial changes in quality with the re-branding? Senior chi goes through about 5 of these a day-- these saved my life and my floors! He's a 12-lb dog, uses a Medium size (make sure to measure your dog to get the right size!! I originally tried a Small but it was too small). It can hold A LOT of pee probably enough for 2-3 accidents but still change into a fresh one after every accident. He has some trouble walking around with these on so I might have to get doggy suspenders which is annoying but it should make it more comfortable and secure. The velcro is sticky enough so it doesn't come off but he's also gotten very good at wiggling himself out of it...
Chewy NEVER disappoints! We get our orders quickly, and they are always right. We are fostering for one of our favorite rescues, and this product is a huge help until he adjusts to our home and routine! This company is a dream to work with! We are forever Chewy fans!
I was buying these through a different company but when the packaging changed, so did the product. The "tape" on them now tear the diaper as you are taking it off so even if the dog hasn't used it... you still have to throw away. Saw the old packaging on Chewy site so changed to start ordering from here. When it arrives it also has the new packaging and same problem. Very disappointing as I have used these for quite awhile.
It's disappointing that the large has been out of stock so long that it's concerning for people needing other sizes (i.e. if you run out of my dog's size, will this even be relevant when you do finally restock). That said, these are an excellent value considering there are 50 in a pack and a popular pet retailer charges the same price for a 12-pack of their brand. The have a slight taper toward the area where the velcro fastens but the velcro is big enough to hold well. It holds after multiple potty trips outside too. My dog occasionally Houdinis out of one if I don't do it quite snug enough and the resulting mess is a testament to how much easier these make cleanup and how much less of him likely feels gross when he has accidents and can't get out of it. I hate that his disease process has led to this need but am glad to have this affordable, quality option.
These were a huge success for the past year. But with my latest autoship, I realized they changed the packaging & material on the wraps. Didn’t seem like a big deal, as brands do this. Unfortunately it seems they’ve also changed the quality or style because now if my dog’s diaper is too full before I realize it, it leaks.
Our 13-year-old pup has lost bladder control while he sleeps. These doggie “diapers” are supper absorbent and *very* easy to put on and take off. A total game changer.
My very old dog, who as a young dog never had any accidents. He has had several accidents. These slings work well and are easy to put on and take off. These have saved my floors!
Best diapers I used for my male elderly dog. None of them leaked and they were cheap for the amount they used. Easy to tell when they’re wet and comfy for my dog. These made the last year of my boy’s life so much easier and more fun. N
