Catch the scratch wave, dude! A wavy vibe is just right for getting a good grip and stretching while scratching. What’s kitty scratching on? It’s layers of pressed wavy cardboard that shreds easily under your cat’s claws, without catching. Also, not your furniture. Let your buddy keep busy scratching, it’s not a cat’s way of slacking—it helps support nail health and satisfy an instinctive urge that feels good for felines. A packet of catnip is included for an added chill (or thrill) factor. Scratch-a-bunga!
Key Benefits- Shaped for more rewarding scratching—wave style cat scratcher lets your kitty get in a good stretch too.
- Irresistibly scratchable—made with corrugated cardboard that shreds easily without catching, to satisfy your feline’s urge to scratch.
- Promotes nail health, positive scratching behaviors and helps redirect scratching from furniture and other household items.
- Includes optional packet of catnip so you can sprinkle it on the scratcher for added excitement.
- Scratching is essential for a healthy and well-balanced kitty, so consider getting a scratcher for all their favorite areas at home.
No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged. Keep out of reach of children Note: Cats usually begin to appreciate catnip between 6 and 8 months of age. Use no more than a few times per week for maximum kitty fun. To keep catnip fresh, store in a safe, cool , dark place. Catnip is an herb that grows naturally in the environment. We recommend catnip be used exclusively by cats. It is not intended for human consumption. Monitor play.

Scratch in Session
Cats need to scratch on the daily, so give them a scratching spot that hits the spot. That means a totally scratchable surface like cardboard corrugate, and feline-approved shapes to please your cat or kitty squad.

Claws Up for Corrugate
Corrugate is just a fancy word for wavy cardboard in tight layers, and it’s what these scratchers are made of. Irresistibly shreddable, it feels so good on your kitty’s nails. It shreds easily for the scratch satisfaction cats crave while supporting healthy nails.
Stretch Appeal
Scratching and stretching go paw in paw. That’s why you’ll find uniquely shaped scratchers so kitties can get in a good stretch while they scratch, from flat to wavy and ramp styles.

Nap, Scratch & Roll
Looking for a napping spot your kitty can actually sink her claws into? The step-in designs combine scratch-ability with lots of room to stretch out and lounge. Sprinkle some of the included catnip for some rolling fun.
Choose Your Shred!
Pick from All Kind’s collection of scratchers for every kitty, and always refresh a scratcher after it’s seen its share of healthy shredding.

The bois approve
By A232 on Jan 2, 2021
My bois are very cautious with anything new, but took to these scratchers really well. They lounge on them, play with each other throughout the raised parts and flip it around very enthusiastically. I have not seen them actually scratch it, but I think they may prefer vertical scratchers. The catnip is definitely messy if used because it goes all the way through the cardboard, but no big deal. I expected that and it’s easy to vacuum up. They had a blast with the catnip :). And with Chewy you know no matter what they will ensure you are happy with your experience. This is truly an amazing company with customer service that exceeds expectations. I will always be a chewy customer.

Chaise Lounge
By Paige on Dec 4, 2020
I bought this on a whim after growing increasingly tired of yelling at my fur angel, Taco Bella, for scratching my new living room rug. She already had a standing post nearby, and another one in my bedroom, both of which she utilized. So if I recall correctly (it’s been at least a few months now), I was looking for floor ones for the first time in hopes that it may help reconcile the Taco/rug debacle. I came upon this, and thought it was a bit more aesthetically pleasing than some others. Reviews seemed mostly positive and it’s 7 bucks. Welp, Taco is obsessed. She scratches it periodically throughout the day. Not only that, but it has become perhaps her very favorite place to lay! She’s either on it (see photos for reference) or on the floor resting against it. My boyfriend quickly started referring to it as The Chaise Lounge. Best of all? No more rug scratching!!! Yay! I’m back on here because I’m adding another one to my cart to replace the current one; baby girl loves it so much, I’ve got little pieces of cardboard all over my apartment. I might even grab a couple to have for later use. Anyway, well worth the price. Truly couldn’t be happier with this item. Hopefully it’s here to stay! Otherwise I may be needing to rent out some storage space... … more

Catnip doesn't seem to be catnip
By Hazel on Jan 11, 2021
My cat had no interest in the "catnip" that came with this product. When he walked away from it, I then put some other catnip I have on the floor and he, as usual, went crazy over it. It appears that what I got with this product, wasn't what it was claimed to be. That said, he showed no interest in the item even with real catnip poured on it, as catnip goes right through the product to the floor

Good for the Price, A Couple Issues
By Betty on Dec 18, 2020
My cat likes to scratch everything, so she eagerly jumped on this and sunk her claws into it. I like the shape. There are a couple issues: 1. When you get it, the little bag of catnip comes glued to the middle of the scratcher. I had some trouble getting the glue off the cardboard, but I knew I had to do it because my cat tries to eat everything. It would be better if the catnip wasn't glued onto the product. 2. The shape. Like other reviewers have said, the part of the scratcher that curves up causes the scratcher to flip up in the air when the cat steps on it. If it had one more wave, maybe it would be better? Overall, I give it 3 1/2 stars. I think it's worth buying for the price.

Not flat, No cat
By Calico on Jan 11, 2021
My cat keeps trying to scratch this curvy pad, but he can’t figure it out. Idk if your cat is supposed to sit on it to keep it from coming off the floor, the catnip I put on it just fell right through it. I bought 2 of them, one still in the pkg, I’ll donate it and I’m going back to the flat scratch pads. Love Chewy, hate this product.

Basic Fun for my cat
By CharliesMom on Jan 1, 2021
This is about as basic of a "toy" as you can get bar a cardboard box and our cat LOVES it! it's light weight so he can tackle it and flip it over which he loves to do. And its sturdy enough that it stays put while he claws away at it. He also loves to just lay on it, in the curve, and relax. Well worth the purchase!

Good product
By Cathie on Jan 13, 2021
It was just smaller than I thought it was going to be. It probably even stated the measurements, but I just figured this type of cat scratcher had a kind of standard size, but it was much smaller than the one I was replacing. My cats use it, but it's not really heavy enough, so it moves a little when they use it.

Not stable enough
By Giulia on Dec 22, 2020
My cat loves cardboard scratchers but he can't use this one because it's not stable enough. If the cat tries to climb on the side that goes up it will lift it with his weight. My cat got scared for this reason when he tried to step on it. Truth to be told my cat is a bit clumsy but I can see this being a problem for other customers too.
-
Pretty much useless
By Madelyn on Dec 13, 2020
All it really does is take up space. I tried to teach Kanye how to scratch it, but instead he took to scratching my carpet directly underneath the hump of it. He loves to scratch his cat tower and scratching post tho so I think cardboard is just not his thing. He sat on it awkwardly when I first got it for him I think cus he knew I wanted him to. After that tho, nada.

Company description fits perfectly
By Linn on Dec 20, 2020
This cat scratcher toy is a good size for most cats. I had thought of it as an item for my cat to use as a scratcher but the term toy appropriately fits. My cat loved to play with it and poke her paw under the arch ( good place for a toy to be placed for the cat to find and bat around.
