    The good and bad

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

So first of all this wasn’t exactly what I expected, but that’s on me for not really looking at how it works. The description says the ball “shoots out”, it doesn’t, just rolls out so it won’t go too far most of the time, and therefore definitely better for wood/smooth surfaces not outside, which I think is good to know before you buy! Second of all, the treats don’t come out regularly. Don’t use soft treats in this, only kibble/hard biscuits because the soft treats end up clumping together. That being said, even kibble doesn’t come out all the time, which can make training your dog to do this a little frustrating. All that aside, after two sessions, and feeling like my dog would never catch So first of all this wasn’t exactly what I expected, but that’s on me for not really looking at how it works. All that aside, after two sessions, and feeling like my dog would never catch on, she actually did, and pretty quickly! She loves it, and I love that it does add mental and physical stimulation to her day. It’ll become one of the ways I feed her in the day to slow her down and make her work for her food. If you’re looking for a big exercise toy for your dog, this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for something to get your dog up and moving inside/slow down their meal times and mentally stimulate them, I think this is a pretty good option, though I wish the kibble wouldn’t get stuck randomly! … more

    Dont waste your money

The treats dont come out each time, maybe 1 out of 10 tries, I have to pick it up and shake it to get the treats to come out. I've tried all different sizes. The ball doesnt go very far, it just rolls out, rolls maybe 2 inches. Definitely not worth your money.

    Loves the Reward

    By on

Our dog absolutely loves being rewarded when she drops the ball in the hole! Only took a couple of days/sessions for her to understand what she needed to do.

    Great for cats too!

    By on

My dogs never figured out how to work it, they’re “simple” lol. But my cat reaches in and wiggles the mechanism and treats slide out. She loves it!
