Complete and Balance - Feed your Almo Nature Daily 3 cans per day for every 8 lbs of bodyweight. Adjust as necessary for less active or more active cats.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.
My cat loves this one~ plenty of meat for two days.
My cats loved the original tuna with shrimps which I guess was replaced to daily complete. Was worried, but no need - they love it
I add 3 cans of wet together that are similar in flavor. These seems to be a likeable addition ...
I wish I could say my cats just loved this food because I had such high hopes! I've been buying the regular Almo Nature, which is much more costly, but wanted to supplement it with the Daily cans. NOPE. I have to dump treats on it for them to even look at it. Then, when they're desperate enough, they'll eat the treats, then eventually the food.
Of my 4 kitties, 2 like it and 2 do not. Personally, I think it is a bit smelly. It looks okay but it is a dark tuna so I guess that is why it didn't go over very well.
I have 3 cats and none would eat this food. Can’t recommend
