Cats belong to an order of strict carnivores that have the teeth of predators and a digestive system suited to absorb and make optimal use of proteins. In nature, the cat’s diet consisted of different prey (mice, birds, fish), a prevalent source of protein and fat (in addition to fiber and other nutrients found in the digestive tract of this prey).
A diet in tune with this carnivorous nature requires rotation: for an optimal nutritional balance, Almo Nature therefore recommends feeding cats all types of meat and fish, and both wet and dry foods to guarantee the intake of all the necessary nutrients are received.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

Give me tuna and I a happy cat. This is great tasting and has no grains
If this were real ..like human tuna..she would devore it, but that's why I bought it to keep her out of my stash.
I normally use Tiny Tiger but it was out of stock so I purchased this food. I could see right away it was not as good of a quality. Of course my cat agrees so now I’m setting here with cans of unused cat food going to see of my neighbor can use it for there cat.
But all four of my cats would not eat this tuna. Manly, Cooper, Patches and Annie wouldn’t even taste it.
Not as good quality as tuna with other almo. My cat won't eat it.
My cats hate this cat food. I will give to a shelter.
Would recommend this brand as the portion is a small container and perfect for a picky eater and there isn't much wasting. My cat doesn't appreciate this flavor as he is extremely picky but, I see that Almo Nature has many other different flavors to try that I didn't see before.
It's great. Cats really like it added to their chicken
Well, my cat seems to like this tuna, but she is not completely loving it. This particular food is very stinky and that is the only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars. If you’re looking for good tuna for your kitty, I’d recommend Almo Tuna Atlantic or Pacific style rather than this one and if you decide to get this one, prepare for a very bad smell... I hope this helps! Cheers!
KoKo is not too crazy about this particular almo nature product. The tuna looks good, but it is a lot darker than the other almo nature tuna products, and my KoKo just doesn't seem to like it as much. She will eventually eat it, but it takes her going back and forth 3-4 times before finishing the can.
