Detangler for cats

My cat hates this on him, but I love it. It works great on my cat and smells wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone with a matted cat.

A disappointment

I had hoped that this would help detangle my seriously matted elderly (at least 16 and maybe 20 years of age) male Maine Coon cat. He no longer really grooms himself. I'm not keen on the idea of stressing him out with a groomer, although he has had some prior vets work on his coat a bit. I've tried clippers myself on him, but they struggle to get through his fur. I'm afraid of using scissors much for fear of cutting him. This formula looked like it might be the perfect solution. A lot of natural ingredients that shouldn't be a problem for a cat if they choose to lick it off. It does smell nice, but it freaked my old boy out spraying him, and it appeared to do nothing at all to help get through the tangles. Pretty useless stuff.
