Finally eating and sticking to it!

I recently adopted my sweet angel Lucy who was underweight. We were recommended to start with the Royal Canin food but she wouldn’t eat it unless it was mixed with wet food. We switched to Iams and she ate that for a few days before getting bored of it. We then tried Nutrish and same thing. We’ve been on Chewy’s American Journey for about a month now and she’s been sticking to it! I feed her both wet and dry food but this one she free feeds and I’m happy to come home to most of the food being gone from her bowl. Definitely recommend trying this one - especially if it’s still on sale like how I got it (but 1 get 1 free)

A great option

I adopted Tuesday back in june. She was never picky with her wet or dry food. I was feeding her a surprisingly clean and natural store brand from my local grocery store when she suddenly stopped eating both. I switched to american journey for both her kibble and wet food and she absolutely loves them. She loves the duck kibble, and the turkey and chicken canned options. I love that they seem to be another clean option and that i can give her a variety of flavors. highly recommend!!

Highly recommend for cats w/ IBS

My 3 year old cat really loves this food. He unfortunately has IBS and wasn’t diagnosed until this year. Since he’s been strictly on this food and blue Buffalo duck protein wet food he hasn’t had any flare ups and he almost never throws up anymore (he used to at least once a week, now he might once every couple of months). His coat is so beautiful and soft now as well, my friends all comment on it when they pet him. My vet also endorsed this food for him so as far as I’m concerned this is a win!

We purchased this as well as the chicken/turkey variety. The turkey blend has made one of my cats sick every time she has tried it, however they both love the duck blend. For the price it is a good food, and seems to be agreeing well with both cats.

DUCK IS GOOOD!

I read ALL the reviews and decided to go w/ this Duck food product for my cat. Shes a Russian Blue w/ Allergies and Asthma. She was eating No Grain Purina but kept biting her tummy and all over itching which made her an unhappy girl. I switched to this which smells GREAT. NO TRANSITION she ate right away w.o. ANY side effects. Shes "going" great. She doesn't eat much bc it's more filling w/ ALL the GOOD STUFF AND NONE OF THE BAD. So NO MORE TREATS she takes this instead and it lasts WAAAYY LONGER! I use Krill Oil also for her itching in her wet food that I also get from Chewy. The pate kind and Vit C for her lungs along w/ L-Lysine.

Sometime this year I switched to American Journey Cat Food. I had already tried the Turkey and Chicken Dry Cat Food, and the Salmon Dry Cat Food which they all like but when they tried this Duck Dry Cat Food they dived into it as never before. I also feed them the American Journey Wet Cat Food. They are all thriving! Thanks for this cat food Chewy.com!

My 3 cats have so much more energy! they are not begging for more food because it fills them up and keeps them going till their next meal. Defiantly has a smell to it but its worth it for how much happier and healthier my cats act. would 100% recommend.

CAT ALLERGIC TO CHICKEN

Had to find a new food after Nutro stopped making their Duck and Potato food. Shame on them! So many cats have allergic reaction to chicken and fish and there are so few options for them. So far I’ve tried all of the duck foods and this is the winner! I am so very thankful!! It took 2 years and almost 40 vet visits 3 surgeries the last two unnecessary to finally find out he has an allergy to chicken!! Poor little guy. I have to feed my two cats separately because if he eats even a couple kibble of chicken he throws up. Thank you so much American Journey and Chewy! Please never stop making this food!
