    My Pack Loves It

By BTLUV on Oct 17, 2018

I finally found a quality and affordable dry dog food my 3 Bostons and Bull mastiff enjoy. Their skin and coats look great also. The rice seems to satisfy their hunger and I feel this is a well balance food for them. Grain free left them hungry and feeding more just made them too fat. The one suggestion I have is to keep the meat protein to just beef, leave the chicken out of the ingredients. It is confusing when the bag is listed as beef but there is chicken in the ingredients. I have a Boston who cannot eat this, he has allergies to chicken and lamb. Bummer, I could be feeding this to all of them if not for the chicken. … more

Dog refuses to eat this brand

By GreatDaneDad on Sep 27, 2018

We had been giving this to our great dane (turned a year old a few days ago) since he was eight weeks. At first we were feeding the chicken, and he liked it but didn't ever finish his food. He suddenly started refusing to eat the salmon around five/six months of age. So we got the Beef. It got better We had been giving this to our great dane (turned a year old a few days ago) since he was eight weeks. At first we were feeding the chicken, and he liked it but didn't ever finish his food. He suddenly started refusing to eat the salmon around five/six months of age. So we got the Beef. It got better for a month or two then he stopped eating it again. We assumed he was just a picky eater and didn't want to eat much, because he is on the smaller side. He has needed to be eating nine cups daily and most days, we were lucky if he ate even four cups. Some days he would finish a whole six cups at dinner if we hiked a few miles that day, but then wouldn't touch the food the next day. Again, we just assumed he was picky. The reason why this food interested us instead of the food our Breeder fed, was because of the ingredients and nutrients. Although this has fewer ingredients, it doesn't smell good or appetizing like how our other puppy's food smells. Today we switched him to a new food as we ran out of the stash of the American Journey we bought while in the process of moving (part of why we assumed he didn't want to eat- stress from moving twice). He couldn't wait to get the new bag open, and he devoured every single kibble. We feel awful to have given our puppy food that he really hated. I would not recommend this food. … more
