Asa's favorite flavor..

Asa, like most fur babies, loves beef. He went crazy over the chicken soft-baked treats so I was pretty sure these would get an A+ rating as well and I was right. They are so packed with good things that you can see the carrots and peas when you take out a treat. They're a little small for a German Shepherd but he loves 'em and that's what counts. They're the perfect size for hiding around the house so he can ''sniff'' them out (he loves it!). I don't own small dogs but I'm pretty sure they'd be appropriate for smaller breeds as well.

I bought this product based on the words soft baked. But as I recall I have had to return the dry dog food from American journey in the past. Something about this brand my dog doesn't like. He does eat these, but very reluctantly.

NOT SOFT BAKED

I do not recommend the American Journey Treats if you want a soft baked treat. I had to cut them with a knife in half to give them to my dogs. I used a few and gave the rest to the racoons that hang around on my property at night. They loved them so the treats were not wasted. I will not buy again.

Hard Biscuits!

The biscuits I got were NOT soft! Hard, a couple of more seconds of cooking, and they would had been hard as a rock. Also way too many peas. And my three small dogs for some reason, do NOT eat any hard biscuits, so give them to my neighbor. Would not buy again.

I have been using these for several years and they have been great. The last 3 bags have awful. I have a very old dog, and we have been able to break these now we cant even cut them. I hate to change treats but......

Dog loves this but they are pretty big

My dog loves these but they are pretty large so I have to break them up to use as small treats on our walk when she needs to be distracted from a bird or another dog. Otherwise could use them like milkbone type sized treats.

I have an 11 year old collie who has become a fussy eater. She can't get enough of these! Both of my dogs love the flavor and the softer texture is perfect for the older one. These will be a permanent addition to my chewy automatic delivery.

We got these treats, in our dog's birthday box & our furbabies LOVE them! Our oldest dog, Sassy, is an 11 year old blind miniature pinscher & the youngest, Zoey, is our 11 month old mini pin/JRT mix, so it does seem to appeal to dogs of all ages & honestly, my Sassy will eat anything that's not nailed down, but Zoey is our picky, prissy princess, so we are glad that she likes it so much! Definitely worth the money for these treats! Chewy always does & awesome job, with our stuff!
