    Cats no longer touching it

By Jesse on Dec 26, 2021

The first couple bags were fine. Cats were eating them and throwing up less. Suddenly opened new bag, and 6 of the 7 cats will smell it, turn face and not eat it. Not sure if its a bad batch or change in flavor.

The best food for a picky cat!

By Bethany on Nov 10, 2021

My kitty has special needs and can only eat certain types of food. He has no teeth and chronic stomatitis, so I got him this food to go with his novel protein diet. He previously ate 99% wet food, and just nibbled on the dry. As soon as I opened this bag he tore into it and has been obsessed ever since. He now exclusively wants this food and isn't eating any wet food! I definitely recommend this wet food!

    Stick with what you know

By Yuck on Dec 15, 2021

I always buy nature's balance duck and pea dry food. I have a cat with allergies. It's the only type of food he can have. It was sold out at Chewy. 4 cats and no one is eating it. Now I have to find the nature's balance.

    Dry Kibble - American Journey

By CamM on Jan 13, 2022

Best Food ever. Have had issues with most foods for my pets because they always have so much junk in them. Love the American Journey Duck & Pea Recipe.

    0/5 Cats Enjoyed It

By Jessi on Oct 17, 2021

One of my senior cats has IBD and I wanted to switch him to duck for protein. I offered a small amount to all 5 cats and not a single one touched it - these are cats who will normally eat just about anything. They picked around it to eat their normal food. 4 days later and no one has touched it. I will say, I love how small the bits are and I normally have good luck with the American Journey brand but this was a huge miss for us.

    Must be good

By Riviesmom on Sep 26, 2021

since I don't eat this, I have to go by the cat's reaction. Loki tore the bag open and started eating 5 min. after we took it out of the box. I believe that is 1 tail straight up. Spector followed in Loki's paw steps while we were chasing Loki away. 2 tails up! River came behind and vacuumed the floor of all scraps. 3 rd tail up. Roman won't eat "their" food. 1 Tail down. I liked no grain, no chicken. They get so tired of chicken. So that's why there are 4 stars. Drat that Roman!

Cats love American Journey, just not this flavor.

By Crissy on Oct 15, 2021

My cats absolutely love American Journey. They always gobble it down. They love the duck flavor so I tried them with this one and they refuse to eat it. I'm guessing they don't like the pea flavor mixed in. I highly recommend American Journey and the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 5 is because my tribe are picky eaters.

    Great for sensitive cat

By CatMom on Sep 16, 2021

I have a cat with multiple food allergies which has made it hard to find a food he tolerates. I had been feeding Instinct Limited Ingredient Turkey but he was vomiting often and was thin. In the week since I switched him to this he has stopped vomiting and has gained weight! I still have a bowl of the other out, some of my other cats prefer it, but he hasn't touched it since I offered him American Journey Duck and Pea. I hope it continues to agree with him!

    Definitely not a lame duck!

By Bucatini on Aug 12, 2021

American Journey really got their ducks in a row for this one! I have been feeding this wonderful limited ingredient food to my cat for about a week now and she loves it. It’s all it’s QUACKED up to be and more! She loves the crunch and the flavor and I love that it doesn’t contain any unnecessary ingredients or fillers. It makes me feel better knowing that she’s eating something simple! #chewyteamrated
