Nourish your feline sidekick with the limited-ingredient nutrition they need to thrive. Ideal for cats with sensitive stomachs, American Journey Limited Ingredient recipes are crafted with a single animal protein source and easy-to-digest carbohydrates for a complete and balanced meal. Just because there are fewer ingredients doesn’t mean there’s any less for cats to crave. The first ingredient is delicious, deboned salmon to satisfy your carnivore’s hankering for animal protein. Every recipe is packed with nutrients to support total-body health, including omega-3 and 6 fatty acids for a healthy skin and coat, natural fiber for healthy digestion, antioxidants for immune support, and taurine for heart and eye health. Because when it comes to keeping cats thriving, less is a whole lot more.

    Not my cat's choice.

By Kitty on Dec 27, 2021

I had to purchase as a substitute because my regular purchase was out of stock. I like that it's limited ingredients. However, it has an awful smell and my cat doesn't like it.

Not a hit for our rescues

By catnip on Sep 21, 2021

Heard a lot about American journey cat food. Thought I would try it since we are having trouble finding the regular food we buy, and it was on sale. Our rescues won’t even try it. We have cats that will eat dry food for treats, but not this food. Oh well, it was on sale. We’ll keep looking for something else. Now we put this out for the mama raccoon and her 3 babies to eat.

    cats don't like

By gabesmom on Oct 3, 2021

My 'kids' were getting tired of the blue they had been eating for quite a while, so I thought I would give them a change. Bought this & they REALLY don't like it. Because of my finances they are stuck with it for now, but will not buy again.

    Deliciously Scrumptious

By Reds on Aug 31, 2021

The first time I gave the cats this food they ate it up. I like the idea they had a chart on the back of the bag of how much to give the cats according to their weight. In the past, I would just fill up the bowl, but in my dismay, they tended to upchuck most of it. The cats seemed pretty satisfied in eating and no upchucking.

    it’s a no :(

By rastafasta on Sep 7, 2021

I was hoping my clan would love this food , however they don’t care for it and act like typical cats when they don’t prefer a food or want something else . Ot may work for other fur baby’s but it’s a no from us :( my boy that has a possibility of having IBD couldn’t eat it either .

We suggested AJ cat food to a friend and this salmon and pea recipe has great ingredients. Their cat loved it, and I know they will be a chewy customer for life. Amazing combo of grain free, and high quality ingredients- love it! #ChewyTeamRated

    Salmon Time!

    By Cleosdad on Aug 11, 2021 top500Contributor

My mom's cat needed new food so we tried this. We gave her duck flavor and she loved it but tried this first because we know salmon is probably her favorite flavor. She loved it so we'll keep using both from time to time.
