kibble too big, puppy didn’t like it
By pupp on Jan 14, 2021
Tried this - seemed like the ingredients were solid. The kibble size is the same as adult dog food (too hard and big for a young puppy). We had a 12 lb, 8 week old golden retriever puppy. She also never took to the food. Tried heating it, chicken broth, everything. Moved to a different brand. Night and day difference.

Puppy isn't crazy about this food
By Marie on Dec 27, 2020
I have to mix a tiny bit of canned food in w/this kibble to get my puppy to eat it. She actually prefers the American Journey adult food I give to my 7 yr old Mastiff, but I want her to have this instead because it has what a growing puppy needs.

Since day one this food has been devoured in seconds! My 4 month old lab absolutely loves this food. Never caused a stomach upset for our sensitive-stomach pup. Highly recommend it. Support USA brands!!

My dog would not eat this product.
By cocoa on Aug 16, 2020
My German Shepard would not eat this dog food. We introduced it slowly but he would push it aside and not touch it or put it on the floor. We gave it away.

Puppy refused to eat this.
By MamaTee on Jun 17, 2020
Our puppy refused to eat this food. We tried mixing a little with his original dry food and he ate around it. Then we mixed it with wet food and he literally licked the wet food out and left all the kibble behind. It looks good on paper. I just wish my pup would eat it.

my puppy did not like this
By giselley708 on May 26, 2020
I order two bags because I thought my puppy was going to like it but she didn’t. So I had two bags and I work at a shelter and I just gave them to my shelter because at that time we had lots of puppies mainly just pit bulls.so it kind of worked out !

Switched from puppy chow to American Journey
By Labmom on Jun 13, 2020
My puppy attacked the box that his new food was in. Once the box was open, he continued to attack the bag of food and was super excited. He gobbles this food down and appears to really like it.

Nice puppy food
By EAVN on Apr 18, 2020
Bought this food for a friend who was laid off her job due to covid 19. She couldn’t afford food for her puppy. My Friend told me she’s mixing into the old food so I’ll have to review when the puppy eats the food alone.
