worst smelling gas!

I somehow missed that this was for large breeds when buying this dog food, but my boston terrier did ok with it, besides having intolerable flatulence. I had to purchase a new dog food because my husband and I could not stand the smell while he was eating this. He is usually a little gassy, but the quantity and pungency increased 20x with this dog food.

Great puppy food

My Labradoodle puppy started on Lamb and Rice Diamond Naturals. She liked it but wasn’t crazy about it.. it made her a bit gassy. Transitioned her to this food because we were looking for a grain free recipe with high fiber and protein, and she was literally picking out pieces of her new food to eat over the old food. Also pleased that AJ has an adult food salmon and sweet potato blend to transition her in the future. I’ve already seen a difference in her stools as well. Overall very happy with our choice and shipping speed as always with Chewy was quick!

Don’t know if it’s my pup that just got use to P- one food or what but he won’t even hardly eat it? It sounded kind of good for him by the sales pitch but he smells it and walks away. He’ll eat it some if I mix it with his Purina one. If he changes his mind I may give an update rating.

Great for Fur!

I have a 11 month old GoldenDoodle and he likes this dog food. He doesn't go crazy about it but he dose like it more then what I was feeding him before. He is all black with some dark brown and when his puppy fur started to shed I noticed his fur to be dull. Which gave me another reason to switch foods. It has helped out with is fur tremendously. I highly recommend this brand to every person out here with a large breed dog! Its not over the top or best but it keeps your dog satisfied. I only wish the company had a small breed puppy with the same ingredients for my other puppy that I have. Only time will tell.

I switched my bull mastiff puppy from Victor professional dog food, (which is great too) to this as she was having itching under her front legs. Within a few days this food has cleared up her skin and she isn’t itching any longer. She loves it too!

Excellent Dog Food

I have a 4 1/2 month old standard poodle who had issues with loose stools and itching, it was getting very out of hand. From the breeder she was on a lamb and rice; no corn, wheat or soy puppy food, and that’s what I had kept her on until a few weeks ago when something had to give. I decided to start with changing to a completely grain-free kibble. I did days of searching trying to find a high quality kibble that also fit the budget (we have two other large breed dogs who eat a separate high quality dog food). I finally decided on American Journey, salmon and sweet potato. I knew it would be challenging switching her kibble as she is picky, but we did it! She still isn’t thrilled to eat it, but I have a 4 1/2 month old standard poodle who had issues with loose stools and itching, it was getting very out of hand.
