Effective and substantial

It seems I've tried every dental chew with limited success . These do the trick ! I have a 55 lb 'senior' retriever mix and the large size is effective and a substantial volume to get the job done ; plus she enjoys them. After just 2 weeks I noticed a significant reduction in residue on her teeth; they are clean and white. Being an American made product is a BIG plus ! Highly recommend. p.s. I do wish the 'Large' treats bag came in a size with more treats than 24 thereby avoiding the need to order mulitples in a single month. In general , I also would like to see more dry pet food come in environmentally friendly containers.

Not liked by my girl

My girl eats American Journey dog food and loves it along with the baked treats but turned her nose up to the dental treats. I was expecting them to be hard and crunchy but they are not and they really do smell funny. So unfortunately I would not recommend these to anyone.

Just Okay Dental Bones

My dog is a 70+ pound super chewer. She loves Whimzees and likes Minties. She also loves Trader Joe’s brand dental bones. We tried these American Journey chews to mix it up, but she’s not a big fan. She doesn’t get excited when I pull them out and might sit with it in her bed for awhile before deciding to try chewing it. They’re smaller than expected and don’t seem to do the same kind of cleaning and breath freshening as other brands we’ve used. They also don’t last as long for the chew. They’re not bad, just not well liked by my dog, so we’d probably stick with her other faves. Worth a try!

Amazing!!!!

I RARELY review things on Chewy, but I had to review these dental sticks because they saved my dog's teeth. I tried brushing, but he was (understandably) against that. I finally decided to look into dental sticks and went with these. I'm SO glad I did. His teeth look a ton better and he definitely enjoys eating these chews.

Great Chew Treat

Our dog really enjoys these. Chewy enough that it doesn’t disappear instantly, but soft enough that we don’t worry about him swallowing a huge chunk and choking like he tends to do with rawhide or bully sticks.

LOVE THESE!!!

I just starting giving these daily to my 2 year old doggie. She loves them and in less than two weeks most of her tarter is almost gone. I will continue to use these daily and would highly recommend.
