Made Scruffy sick to his stomach
I don't know if it was this canned food or the American Journey limited ingredient duck kibble or both, but I'm too afraid to try this canned food after the immediate bad reaction Scruffy had.. I think there might be something wrong with this food.
Duck and Sweet Potato YUMMY
2/4 dogs have allergies to many processed foods so finding this food has been a blessing. All my dogs love American Journey LID Duck and Sweet Potato
Sooo Disappointed...
Yes, VERY disappointed! I've used American Journey wet dog food several times in the past months but the last two cases I received were so .... oily? greasy? I'm not sure how to describe it, AND the loaf is no longer a loaf that can be sliced, it is so gooey and oily it's just a horrible mess! Plus, the deciding factor, my dog will not eat it! I've tried mixing it with some of her favorite foods, ie: chicken (the actual meat, not canned anything), pieces of hamburger, etc. etc. but she will either ignore the dish altogether or will pick out the pieces of meat and leave the American Journey in the food pan. I now have a lot of feral cats and a possum or two that are getting really FAT! So very disappointed, Chewy, because I've relied on your brand of foods and treats for my Ziva for many years. This is just to sad.
My dog loves the lamb and sweet potato recipe, but since it has not been in stock I tried this flavor. Unfortunately he took a small taste and walked away. Please bring back the lamb.
Good for the tummy
My dogs seem to have become picky all of a suddenly, BUT the American Journey ground wet foods have gotten their attention. They give it an A and so do I.
Dog doesn’t like now
My dog loves wet food. The first few cases we had she liked. This past case has had lots of a jelly substance in the food and she is not a fan. I was trying to save some bucks , but I will return to getting her Natural Balance brand.
Watered Down Garbage since they bought out American Journey
I've been buying American Journey for my dogs for the last 2 years or more. Dry and canned food. Chewy recently bought them out and now the canned food is soupy trash. Not worth the money. Thanks a lot Chewy.
She loves it
My 15 year old sharpei mix has some stomach issues and I’ve been advised to feed small meals more often. I give her a couple tablespoons of American journey duck and sweet potato before bed and she loves it. It’s the perfect consistency for her - soft but not runny. And gentle on the stomach.
Good for food allergies
We use this to help medicine go down as well as making her special allergy kibble more palatable. Finding food like this that doesn't have other ingredients such as peas is difficult to find.
