When you start your daily adventure with American Journey Grain-Free Puppy Food, you're always on the right path to the best nutrition. Real, deboned meat like lamb or chicken always comes first in the list of ingredients, and you won't see stuff like grains, corn, wheat or soy anywhere. These meals are made with seriously satisfying, flavorful proteins that are rich in amino acids, salmon oil that provides coat-replenishing omegas, and sweet potatoes with beta-carotene.

To make sure every dog gets the right nutrition for his age and size, American Journey has special recipes formulated just for puppies. Each meal is packed with protein to help your dog's growing muscles stay lean and DHA to support his brain and eye development. Pups that crave red meat can dine on savory lamb, or if poultry is what makes your puppy howl, he can chow down on the chicken formula.
Some pups have a hard time with grains, experiencing upset stomachs and skin issues as a result of eating a diet that is rich in wheat, rye or legumes. Fill your dog's belly and fuel his daily adventures with a grain-free dog food that is nutritionally sound with more of the things he needs to keep him going throughout the day.

Best food ever
By Lucy1 on Feb 18, 2021
I have tried several stuff did over the years and I am so happy with American Journey food. Both my dogs are large breed and it is done wonders for their coat and the shedding, more consistent and solid poops. Less gas and burping also. I'm so glad I found this and I recommend it to everybody and everybody that asks about what I feed my pups

This one doesn't take the cake...
By Elyse on Jan 21, 2021
My dog LOVED the American Journey Chicken and Sweet Potato Large Breed Puppy. Let's be clear - I have a Golden Retriever Puppy. He is 100% food driven and he will not touch this food! If I put it down he'll lay in front of his bowl and cry and cry and cry. It's pathetic. He will eat anything and everything... besides this food. Now I have 25 lbs of it just sitting here. Ugh! SMH

Great Product - Our Dog LOVES It!
By PatPaints on Jan 6, 2021
Charlie wasn't enjoying his food much, leaving it in the bowl for a few hours before resigning himself to eating the same old chicken mix - even with different brands! So we tried the Lamb & Sweet Potato by American Journey - what a difference! Charlie now eats his meals when they are poured into his bowl. He actually lets us know when it's time to eat by standing in front of us and staring at us, then his dish. What a difference a dog food makes!

Dog likes it
By Ballinball on Jan 25, 2021
I needed something grain free, chicken free due to dog's allergies. I THOUGHT I was ordering Salmon and Sweet Potato but apparently I clicked Lamb/Sweet Potato instead. The dog seems to like it fine; I'm happy it's grain and chicken free. Overall a win/win

good for skin issues
By Dibr on Dec 9, 2020
Lamb and salmon are the least allergy prone meats for dogs. My chow loves chicken, but I try to limit her intake of it. We had her on Natural Balance salmon, but she got tired of that after a bag. We are in the middle of this bag of food, and she seems to continue eating it. She's never been a great eater, so we have to fill it with toppings and other goodies, but at least she doesn't pick around it. The best part is that she seems to be itching and biting her back legs less, which I attribute to this food.

This puppy food is awesome! Not only is it nutricious, our 3 1/2 month puppy loves it! Her dry skin has cleared up. She adjusted from the rescue food directly to this food.

Pup loves this food
By Kenviroo on Oct 22, 2020
When the food arrived in box, my pup actually chewed the box to get to the food - lol. Left the treats alone and went straight to the bag of Journey. Guess that says it all. I changed to this food to hopefully increase the pup's weight. Didn't seem to be gaining weight on other food.
