Do you think a dog that has rx dog food for years could tolerate this food. She had pancreatitis years back.

Hoped for a balance of quality and cost...

...but the search continues. Was looking for a cheaper option to the Nutro which was also often running out of stock. Expected the beef chunks to be a hit, eased them into it mixing it with the Nutro for the first case, but the next case unmixed the dogs stopped eating it.

Our Golden loves it

I was getting the duck n sweet potato but our golden was starting not to care for it much but this stew version with beef n veggies is a hit.

Gigi was allergic

We love and have used American Journey for 2 1/2 years (CHICKEN) I thought Gig would like to try beef. She ate and loved it. Unfortunately she had a allergic reaction and broke out in hives and threw up. So donated to the local shelter. We went back to AMERICAN JOURNEY CHICKEN

4 Dogs Give Thumbs Down!

We purchased a couple of 12 can flats of this American Journey flavor because it looks good and is recommended for it's ingredients and is fairly priced. At first my 4 dogs liked it but about half way through the first case Dog One just stopped eating it. Then another quit and then a third. I cancelled my subscription to AJ but was hoping to use up the remaining cans with Dog 4 who literally eats everything we put in front of him. But to our surprise he recently took one whiff of his food bowl and learned that he had more AJ in it and he too just walked away. So, I hate to throw food out but I still have 3 cans left but they're going in the trash! I want my dogs to be excited about meal time, and now that the AJ Beef & Veggies is gone meal time is great again!

Expensive but dog loves it

Our girl loves this food, but it's getting so expensive that I'm thinking about switching to something else. It used to be about a third less expensive a year ago.

My dogs like the food and treats.

I like the service and my dogs seem to like the food and treats, but I have a hard time because the boxes are so heavy and everything is in one box. I have to open it outside and carry items in the house. I wish dry food came in smaller bags. Everything is in one box - canned and dry food and treats!! Ugh.

Too much corn starch

My dog has diarrhea after eating this food . The food has lots of corn starch . I don’t think we should feed our dog with this much corn starch

Not a fan!

I’m not sure if it was the taste or the texture of it, but my pup wasn’t much of a fan of this. No matter if I served it alone or with a little bit of kibble it would just sit there all day :(

SMELLS GREAT , LOOKS GREAT

I needed something for one of my rescues to help put weight on her . She wasn't eating very much dry food. I bought American Stews Beef & Vegetables to supplement her other food. When I opened the first can I was amazed how great it smelled. The other dogs in the house wanted to try it too, they did and all of them ate it like there was no tomorrow. I was very pleased with this product, I will be putting on my auto shipped list.
