Bringing your pet more omegas to help them stay healthy is as simple as giving the bottle a squeeze. The drip-free cap lets you add the right amount for the right dose for your dog or cat, with no messes. There are never any artificial preservatives, colors or synthetic flavors, either.

Dog and Cats

My pets, mastiff and cats, are not crazy about this. My dog actually avoids his food when this is on it. He will go crazy for the fish oil capsules that are in the supplements for humans. The bottle is a squeeze top and it is very difficult to get a small amount out. Cats avoid this oil as well. Since my pets are happy with fish oil capsules from the supplement, I don't feel like it is a picky situation with them. I am going back to capsules that I puncture with a needle.

Another loser in the quest for a food topper

I had to give this a * rating, which is unfair -- this product may be great, but my kids didn't like it. * is for cat reaction, not product quality. I have a cat with cancer who also needs to be on a kidney-care diet. Until I found the Weruva Wx products, he was being very finicky about eating, so I tried multiple options to make his food more appealing. Stinky fish oil should be a winner! But, no. Because, cats. Not only did the cat in question not like this, neither did either of my other cats. Just to be sure, before offering it to friends who may have a cat who loves salmon, I put a squirt in a small dish for each of my cats. They all walked over to them, gave it a sniff and walked away without so much as a lick. If your cat loves salmon, this might be a great product for you, but it was three paws down in this household.

Big NO from my Cats

I purchased for my 10 yr old cat with a skin condition (scratching a lot and overgrooming). She seemed to dislike the smell and refused to eat her regular food with this mixed in. I tried multi-times with no success. The product was nearing its expiration date, so I tried giving to my other 2 cats. They also refused. The product looks to be top quality, but definitely has a very strong fishy smell, which I think my cats dislike and it is really oily and rich. Was worth a try!

LOVE LOVE!

This is great. It is affordable and still makes my dogs coats look so nice and shiny. My coworkers say my dogs fur looks like a slick seal. It is great. LOVE IT

Fishy Fish Oil Just OK

I was hoping to add omega 3s to my cats' diet but they don't really care for this. It has a very strong fishy odor and if you use the pour-out top it is very difficult to get a small amount. I have to take off the entire lid and gently pour out the teaspoon it suggests.

unfortunately...

:( She will not touch this or anything I put it in or on. She used to always take it in food (another brand) but stopped, so I switched to this brand and she has never consented to even a little bit in her food sadly. To be fair, she is a picky eater.

Not a hit with kittys

My vet suggested I get a salmon oil supplement to help with fur health. I tried another brand and they seemed to really like it but thought I would give this one a try as it was cheaper and had more flavors but they dont like it and wont eat food mixed with it.

We like it so far

I bought this brand of salmon oil for my 9yo black lab to try as we wanted something more to help with his joints and dry skin (in addition to this he takes Cosequin joint supplements and lab formula Royal Canin). So far we like it, I haven't noticed a huge difference but it's been only a month and he is fairly and strong and healthy regardless. Samson likes the taste and I believe it definitely could be doing good so we will continue using this unless we notice any ill effects or our vet recommends that we don't, if so I will update my review. Doing some research, and reading the past reviews, I've read from a few sources that salmon oil should not be stored in plastic so I bought this air tight Mason jar and we store it in the fridge, we go through about a bottle a month so I'm not too worried about light degradation (it's important to do your own research it this area). I did notice a lot of sedimate at the bottom so make sure you give the bottle a really good shake everytime you use it. Best, Kayla and @SamsontheAdventureDog
