Most of our cats and our dogs like it. It has a strong salmon smell. I got it to mix into C/D canned cat food for our one cat, who will be eating C/D the rest of his life. I was having a hard time getting him to eat it. He is not a big fan of the salmon oil, but is now eating the C/D if I just add Most of our cats and our dogs like it. It has a strong salmon smell. I have been giving my cat salmon oil for about a year and was using a different brand. I purchase this brand because of the value and the cat notices the difference and is very vocal and picky with his food since we introduced this brand. It isn’t spoiled or anything and it doesn’t make him sick, the I have been giving my cat salmon oil for about a year and was using a different brand. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
By ShepherdMom on Feb 26, 2021
This product is terrible and has caused my healthy German Shepherd get a terrible skin irritation. His under belly is dry, red, and discolored. We know it is this product, because we were able to do a process of elimination. Please, please do not give your dogs this. My heart aches for my German Shepherd, he has never had any issue and I feel at fault. Save your babies from this product.

My dog is in Love!
By Tara on Feb 25, 2021
This product is awesome!! I bought this because I know that it’s super healthy for him, and when I read the description of the product it mentioned how salmon oil can help with dogs joints. I have a Welsh Corgi, and with his little bitty legs, joint pain might be something that he becomes susceptible to Later on in life. That helped confirm my decision that this is a great supplement to add to his daily meal. I mix it in with his breakfast, and you would think this dog has never had a meal before in his life with the way that he chows it down LOL! He absolutely loves it. My dog is a definite carnivore and loves anything that smells like meat or fish :) I take pride in knowing that it’s helping This product is awesome!! Do NOT recommend - BAD REACTION from CHOW CHOW
By Simon on Feb 24, 2021
Our Chow male, unneutered, has had horrible behavioral and coughing reactions from this product. He has hardly slept the last days and is constantly licking the floor, coughing, making odd throat noises, and generally NOT HIMSELF. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Skin, coat, and allergy improvement!
By RichardS on Feb 23, 2021
I have a pit bull who has itched for years and would scratch himself raw. I take him to the Vet to get bathed, allergy shots, steroids, etc. Then I switched to the American Journey Senior food from weight control, and added the salmon oil. First thing I noticed is that he loves it as he cleans his bowl. After the first month he quit itching and scratching, his skin looks great, his coat is shiny. Now the shots he was getting work great but they are $150 a month. This, so far, is a great treatment and much less expensive! I notice no fishy smell when I use it and my dog doesn't smell like fish either. Great product!

Finicky dogs love this!
By DoxieMom on Feb 21, 2021
For forever we’ve been adding gravy or soft food to our dogs’ food so they would eat it. They absolute love this oil. We are hopeful that it will help with our doxie’s itchy skin. So far so good!!

Dogs smell fishy
By Sara on Feb 20, 2021
I'm sure this is really good for them, and they eat it enthusiastically on their kibble, licking the bowls for every last drop. However, for a couple of days afterwards they smell fishy. I didn't give them any more than the package recommended, and ominously the instructions advised "for intermittent use" so I imagine THEY KNEW. :)

Disappointed
By RachB on Feb 19, 2021
I thought for sure my cat /would love this since she only likes sea food. But even when I put it on her food, she’d sniff and walk away.
