I've had this bed for 2 months for my 50# dog. First I was disappointed in how easily it got flattened down. The stuffing is cheap. It is only used for a few hours as a stand-alone dog mat- he is not lying on it for hours in his crate.
Then the material on the underside tore open. My dog is not hard on beds and mats; this is cheap material that tore easily. Once it had a small tear, it quickly spread to the entire width of the mat. It is now unusable.
I would not recommend this, nor buy it again. I thought an AKC-endorsed product would be decent quality. I was wrong.
My dogs love them .

I bought two of these beds for my small dogs and they love them. They are very soft and comfortable and fit perfectly into their crates. Thankfully , they are not shredders and have not attempted to tear them apart as the material does seem a bit flimsy.
Nice mat, material soft

It's a nice mat but our dog was able to tear into it and pull the interior out, on the first night! We checked it to see it back up and that's when we realized how soft the material was and that we would not even be able to see it so we are trying to find a patch for it so it won't be a total waist.
Very Nice bed

For the price my Olde English Bulldogge loves this bed/crate mat. He weighs 72 lbs. and the previous one lasted a long time. It's very soft which is what our spoiled baby loves. It fits his crate perfectly. He looks so cozy in the morning I hate to have to get him up. Not big enough for a large dog but fine for a medium sized. God luck and have a great dog day.

I decided to buy this for one reason... per AKC's own advertising; "Nonskid bottom prevents sliding as dogs toss and turn, even on hardwood floors." I wanted something that would not 'slide' around. Just as well put a set of wheels on this thing and call it a skate. Totally wasted my money.

Fit my dogs crate perfectly, looks nice, and super cozy. My dog slept on it one night, then the following day during a two hour period in the crate with it, he decided to shred it up and rip out all the stuffing. The top fuzzy portion remained in tact, so he has a little fuzzy blanket now instead of a bed. It probably would've been better as a standalone bed rather than placed inside a crate (for my dog at least) so he could choose to not lay on it if it got too warm.

Would not recommend for 6 month Lab puppy, lasted about 2 months and then he got into the stuffing :( Its a comfy bed but stitching needs to be stronger because he was able to just rip open the sewed seam and then he proceeded to unstuff it and was quite proud of himself...

My miniature poodle ripped this bed up in less than half an hour, he has never done this before. he plays with toys and unable to shred them but this bed is so poorly constructed that when i came to check on him after cooking dinner there was fluff everywhere.
Awful bed and cheap quality!

Awful bed and cheap quality! I'm on Chewy looking for a bed to replace this one. I've had it for years and it got very little use from my older dog and cats. I have a new dog that needs to be crated and I used this bed at first because it was the right size, but it didn't last long before she ripped into it. The bottom layer is extremely thin, cheap material and once it tears it keeps tearing. It also doesn't hold its shape, becomes lumpy and offers no support. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a better quality bed.

Really a nice bed. But not puppy good my Golden Retriever chewed a hole in the side of it. Unless he is chewing anymore save your money.
