Transition Instructions

When switching to an American Natural Premium Formula, a gradually transition is recommended, but not required. Start by adding a small amount of American Natural Premium pet food to your dog's current diet while reducing the amount of the old diet. Increase the amount of American Natural Premium for 7 - 10 days until the transition is complete. For sensitive dogs, we recommend a 10-14 day transition.

    Didn't work for us.

By KayEmm on Feb 15, 2021

My dog (a tank that can eat pretty much garbage) shows symptoms of reflux after eating this food and has vomited twice. Stool is also looking softer and smells a lot more than usual; his eyes have also gotten very weepy. There is nothing in this food he hasn't eaten before, I got it because it's potato and pea free and I figured it would be good, but we're disappointed after trying this brand for the first time and will be disposing for the remaining 30 pounds of kibble asap.

Love it! So does Nate dog

I'm a big fan of american natural premium. I wasn't sure how my boy would fan out with this new recipe but he's still pretty excited about it 1 month in. It keeps his coat shiny healthy during these winter months and our apartment heat when it comes on. He usually has intense dry skin round this time and currently he's itch free and still silky smooth. Probably the best food on the market and american/locally made. Plus it only takes a normal amount of scoops to feed your pup! Thanks ANP!

I have fed my dogs American Naturel Premium for 3 years. They have done excellent on it. They love it so I was glad to see a fish option added.Quality food and no issues.

    Excellent Quality

By TurkeyPumpkin on Jan 26, 2021

My puppy turned one-year-old this month, and the dog daycare where she occasionally goes carries only this brand of food. They gave me samples of the different flavors, and this is one of the many that she enjoyed.
