Extreme shipping packaging

The flake was fine, but I ordered 2 and instead of packing them together (they would have fit), they came in separate, huge boxes with so much brown paper inserted as "cushion" (why on pine flakes I don't know) that when I undid it and held one end, and my son the other it stretched the length of our house ... times 2. Incredibly wasteful use of paper packaging resources.
