  • For my pro groomers !! :

Started with these clippers when I first started learning to groom in 2014. I just had to lay my babies to rest last week and finally admit they are burnt out. But these have worked great for me over the years I've had them. They are a bit heavy for constant use if you're grooming every day with them, but I'd still recommend them. I'm switching to the Andis excel 5 speed for every day use, but I've already bought another pair of these as my back ups or to get through those super tough doodle coat shave downs. I did have to change my cord about 2 times over the past 4 years I've had them, but it was probably more my fault since I would wrap the cord around the clippers or fold it alot (I know Started with these clippers when I first started learning to groom in 2014. • Works Wonderfully!

I recently bought these clippers to use on my rough coat St Bernard. I was a little worried that his coat may be too much for them to handle but that was not the case. These clippers have done a wonderful job on him. I would definitely recommend them!

These are great clippers. Shaved my Yorkies with these. They do get hot, but that is because of the high speed and power they have. Works great.

  • Quiet and Easy to Use

    By on

So far I have done 2 of my 4 yorkies and yorkie-poos and my friend's 3 Chihuahuas. My first time grooming. Was very easy but you must be very careful with the 10 blade that comes with it. It cuts very short.

  • Great clippers, for beginners or professional.

I've used these clippers for over 25 years, still my favorite. I'm a professional dog groomer, they get the job done.

  • Unbelievably disappointing

When we got our schnoodle we first bought a pair of cheap dog clippers and got what we paid for. We figured out even our human hair clippers worked better. After doing a lot of reading we decided to invest in these because of the great reviews and reputation of the Andis brand. Because the clippers don't come with any guides or combs we waited to do more reading and bought a well-reviewed high quality set so we didn't have to shave our poor puppy down to a #10 in the winter. It did not work well, but we figured because we kept finding wads of hair between the comb and the blade that it was the combs' fault. We finally gave up and planned to just shave her down with the blade- it would not look When we got our schnoodle we first bought a pair of cheap dog clippers and got what we paid for. It was the same nightmare we had dealt with using the cheap lousy clippers and maybe even not as good as the time we used the human hair clippers. It would have taken hours of going over the same places over and over, stopping 4 and 5 inches down her back to pull out the trimmed fur and start over. I used to think our problem was that we got what we paid for but clearly that is not the case here. More than $100 down the drain. … more

  • Best Clippers

    By on

Ive had this clipper for 6 years. Never had any problems with it! I have multiple blades and combs and my husband even uses it to cut his own hair! I have 2 Pomeranians, so these clippers get a really good work out ever fortnight in the warmer months of Florida. I dont know why some people have given these such a poor rating! Keep your blades cleaned and oiled, make sure you have the right blade for your dogs coat. Check out the Andis website for a guide that lists all the blades and the types of coats they work best on. Ive NEVER had a blade that gets jammed up with fur etc.

  • Great clippers

Love these clippers, run smooth and quiet. I run two pair of clippers one for 10 blades and the other for the body hair. Great option, not heavy. Clean smooth finish

  • Andis AG 2-speed clippers

I was not happy with theses clippers at all, they got very hot very fast and did not go through my dogs coat very easily or smooth at all. I had to take constant breaks and clean them every few minutes. needles to say my dog got half a hair cut. I will be returning this product
