Unhappy with purchase

Took out of package. Honestly had a used look to it, didn’t have any hair but package was roughly placed together and lightly dusty inside. Bought as I was hopefully to replace having to go to groomers so often and figured this would pay off in the end. Well it did great for a quarter of my dog and then stopped going through hair. I cleaned them. I tried everything. Dull after a quarter shave. Now I have to go get my partially shaved dog to the groomer spending triple the amount of money on this product and it didn’t do the job. Disappointed. I think I got a faulty returned product honestly. So can’t really say if it would be different for other buyers but I’m not happy.

Quality Clippers

Spent a lot of time reviewing dog clippers and watching YouTube videos of professional groomers. They obviously have more equipment in their arsenal. I am a diy person and need to start somewhere. These clippers are highly recommended by many. I received the clippers and Andis combs today (purchased separately from Chewy). The clippers have some weight and just feel like quality in your hands. I only plugged it in and cycled through the speeds. It sounds great. Highly recommended. I purchased the Andis Universal Stainless Steel Dog Combs 8-Piece Set as well.

Best Clippers!

I do my standard poodle grooming at home. These clippers work wonders! I never worry about them getting too hot (the blades can, but the motor doesn’t). I shave my dog once a month and this trimer works great!

good clippers for doodle

Finally, good clippers that get through my doodle’s (poodle type) fur. Nothing else has worked. Took off one star because at this high price, it should come with guides and a storage bag/case.

Wish I bought a long time ago

I have 3 large dogs. One (american eskimo mix) typically takes 3+ hour to shave and to keep the clippers from over heating we would also spread it over a couple of days. I got these clippers today and was able to give him a full winter to spring haircut in just an hour. We typically spend $70 plus a hair cut so these will pay themselves off quickly.

I used these clippers for the first time yesterday on my 70 pound doodle. I was so excited about these when they were delivered and knew I had to try them out asap. While grooming my dog, I struggled using these clippers. They kept getting caught in his fur, made his groom look very choppy and uneven. They were already hot right off the bat of using them (were supposed to stay cool per description on the box.) and extremely heavy. They are awkward to use due to the weight of the clippers and the on off switch is very hard to slide to on and off. Overall, I am very disappointed in these clippers. I did a lot of research and spent money on these because I read how durable they are and how they are great for a poodle/doodle with thick curly fur. The box said heavy duty and they just did not do their part. I had to switch to a different pair of clippers I bought specifically for the paws, belly, and face, to groom my doodle. I have had Andis clippers before and they did pretty well on my dogs. I bought these to replace the other ones because they are old and not working well anymore. Sadly, I do not recommend these clippers. Maybe mine were a defected set.

nice clippers

I purchased these to replace a pair Purchased 23 years ago. (same brand)They seem well made and not as heavy. The blades do get a little warm but no big deal. I hope these last as long.

They’re Ok

I like them, they’re pretty good, but there are a few issues. For one, sometimes blades will not attach properly and i’ll have to repeatedly take them off and put them back on a couple times before it properly attaches. Another MAJOR one is how quickly they overheat. It’s easily solved by using coolant and constantly switching blades, but it gets annoying when you’re fully clipping an entire horse. But in the end, they get the job done.

Awesome clipper

These clippers worked amazing for my doodle puppy. Her hair is really thick and fuzzy, these clippers went thru her hair like butter.

Tips these are good clippers

Hello to everyone saying the blades get hot yes pretty much with any clippers it's metal rubbing against each other remember to oil the blade and have 5 blades to change out during grooming your dog's remember to clean your blade so they last longer hair does get in there these are really good I use them for professional grooming make sure your dog is completely dry before cutting and brush the dogs hair or your clippers will get stuck in the knots
