I like this blade because it cuts well and does not get hot like the all metal blades.

Great blade at a good price

    By on

This blade is great for my Standard Poodle, especially for the legs or longer cut for winter. He has very soft hair so the control with this blade is good. There are no "groove" marks like using the metal combs. Price on Chewy is the best I have found anywhere.

    Blade is worth the price

    By on

The 3/4" blade does a much better job in our Andis clipper than the original blade and standoff attachment.

I used to have to pause frequently during cutting and switch to a different clipper. When I used the ceramic blade, I kept checking the clipper to see if it was getting hot and it really only felt warm like a when we rub our hands together. I don't know what the little piece was that fell out of my clipper while I used the ceramic blade, but it had no effect on the performance. I was concerned that the ceramic blade would not be as sharp, but it worked I know metals heat up quickly when exposed to friction or other hot items such as the clipper motor.
