Help her show off her im-paw-essive coat by getting rid of tangles, mats and dirt with the Andis Firm Slicker Brush. As it smooths her fur, it also removes dead hair from the topcoat and undercoat, helping prevent those hairs from ending up on floors, furniture and clothing. With a large design, it combs more fur with each stroke—especially helpful when you’re brushing larger friends. Plus, the soft-grip handle ensures your hand stays comfortable, even on days you have back-to-back furry clients.

The Andis Slicker brush was delivered quickly. I used the brush on both my cats and my dog. The brush did not work as well as expected. It’s a very firm brush and doesn’t remove the loose fir as well as my previous slicker brushes. The brush is so firm my dog yelped because the metal bristles were poking her skin. I used it on both of my cat and also didn’t work very well. I’m hoping in time it my loosen up and work better. As of now, I find myself using my old brushes that remove the hair better and are more soothing to my pets.
Excellent quality and prices. Great for removing loose hair from my dogs and easy to remove the hair from the brush!
Got this to brush our basset without having to use Furminator all the time, especially since she is prone to small cysts. It works fine but hard to clean hair out.
Handle is comfortable. Tines are sturdy and longer than on a previous smaller brush. Works very easily and effectively on our Great Pyrenees. She likes it! Her fur is so thick that it fills up the brush rather quickly, so no problem to remove the fur from the brush-- and no need to get a self-cleaning brush that could break more easily.
Works great, does exactly what it's supposed to do. I will be ordering more as needed.
So to start Oscar is a golden doodle. I love to keep his hair a little bit longer than most. This brush is easy on the fur and doesn't hurt the skin. Oscar asks to get brushed and lays down for brushings.
