Fans and air vents that can become clogged with hair are not needed. The quiet operation pleases even the most sensitive animal. Includes: clipper, size 10 UltraEdge blade, and clipper oil.

Key Benefits
  • Detachable blades and removable drive cap make cleaning a breeze while the locking blade hinge keeps blade secure for stress-free operation.

  • It features a 14' heavy duty cord and the motor is encased in a break resistant housing so it withstands harsh chemicals. Also maintenance free - no oiling or greasing of internal parts is needed

Instructions

2-Speed Operation: Your Andis clipper comes with normal and high speed operation. Use the normal setting (setting #1) for most cutting needs. Use the high speed setting (setting #2) for cutting through heavy hair. To start clipper move switch button by pressing down on the lock mechanism and moving to the #1 or #2 position. To stop, press down on the lock mechanism and move switch button back to original position. After using your Andis clipper, rewrap cord, and store in a safe place.

Care & Servicing of Your Andis Clipper Blades: Blades should be oiled before, during, and after each use. If your clipper blades leave streaks or slow down, it’s a sure sign blades need oil. Place a few drops of oil on the front and side of the cutter blades. Wipe excess oil off blades with a soft, dry cloth. Spray lubricants contain insufficient oil for good lubrication, but are an excellent clipper blade coolant. Always replace broken or nicked blades to prevent injury. You can clean the excess hair from your blades by using a small brush or worn out toothbrush. To clean the blades, we suggest to immerse the blades only into a shallow pan of Andis Clipper Oil, while the clipper is running. Any excess hair and dirt that has accumulated between the blades should come out. After cleaning, turn your clipper off and dry blades with a clean dry cloth.

  • Like a hot knife through butter

My wife and I have an Airedale puppy -- our first dog together -- and are realizing the cost of a dog can mount up quickly. One way I figured we could save money is by grooming Rory boy ourselves. My old Wahl clippers weren't cutting it (no pun intended), so I decided to go big with these high-end Andis clippers. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase -- these cut through Rory's thick coat like a hot knife through butter. My wife wasn't thrilled with the price (she's cheap) but I explained the amazing pricing from Chewy relative to the competition, and that these clippers would pay for themselves after just two uses. • Don’t hesitate!

This was recommended to me by a Labradoodle owner. My Goldendoodle has thick & curly hair like wool. I was a little hesitant about the purchase. As many have stated, they truly do cut as if slicing through butter. They do heat up a bit after a while, but I took that time for a treat break for the Doodle, which he came to look for. My dog is 5-years old & I could have taken on this task a lot sooner. Don’t hesitate; you won’t be disappointed with these clippers! ~ Michele; NC.

  • Wonderful!

It can be difficult when reading reviews to make the decision right for oneself. I made the right decision with this. The discount provided for a much higher quality than I could get anywhere else. I have Maltese and one has a difficult coat that I have to keep short. This took the fur right off before she could get antsy. Very glad I chose this product.

  • These clippers are 5 Star!

I had been clipping my almost two year old Standard Poodle with scissors or taking him to a groomer every few months. I decided to try clipping him myself and I’m so pleased with the Andis AGC2. I purchased a second set of ceramic 10 blades and switched blades frequently. It took less than an hour and Oliver was so happy to lose the thick curls. This was my first time clipping a dog myself and after watching a few videos on YouTube I felt confident to begin. We live on a farm so I wanted to trim him very close to prevent tangles from briars. Again I’m very pleased with the ease of use with the AGC2, and Oliver is more than pleased with his hair cut!

  • This cut like a hot knife going through butter

We needed a new clipper. We were told to try this brand. I needed to trim my Nigerian dwarf goat that has super thick fur and our weather was getting close to 100 degrees so I needed to do something. Omg this “DID NOT” even get hot like some were saying. Quiet enough it didn’t even freak out my goats. I would recommend these 100%

  • Wish I had had more time to research clippers before purchasing...

Did a good job...they are heavier than I thought so I might recommend others to choose a lighter clipper if they do a lot of grooming...They also get quite hot and this was the reason I was replacing my older Oster clippers.

  • Disappointed...

Being a professional groomer, and owning these clippers in the past... Quality has gone down hill! Switch sticks, no power, and very noisy... Will never buy these again!

  • ANDIS AGC2 2 SPEED CLIPPER

Decided to groom our 2 dogs at home due to price at groomers. Did so for 2 years now with a struggle every time we groomed our dogs. Was getting ready to take them back to groomers when I read some reviews on utube. Thought I would give it one more time with this clipper that had so many outstanding reviews. At best it would take me 2 hours to do one dog with a lot of swearing and losing my patience which was not my dogs fault. I received my new Andis AGC2 last night and thought I would try them out today. I got done so fast I did both dogs. The other funny thing was both dogs sat absolutely still like they were enjoying it. What a blessing, I (and the dogs) will now enjoy grooming much more. If you have been going through the same thing as I have you will not be happier then when you receive your Andis clippers in the mail. I have read in other reviews that they cut like going thru butter and had to laugh but it is really true you won't be sorry. You might also want to get the ceramic blades because they rock. They don't get very hot at all. Thanks Andis!!!!! … more

  • Worked great on my doodle

    By on

As a first time DIY groomer, I was nervous about the whole experience, but these clippers worked like a dream. My husband and I cut my 5mo doodle's hair for the first time and after doing some prep work to orient him to the clippers' sound and vibration, this went much more smoothly than expected. We used these clippers with the Oster attachable combs to get the length desired and finished with the finishing/thinning shears (see pic). The clippers are quiet, powerful, and get the job done. I can't recommend them enough.

  • Andis Clippers

We got extremely busy and went too long between grooming sessions, I decided I was ready to start grooming her myself and did plenty of research for the best clippers out there for a reasonable price. These clippers are wonderful! They did get warm, however, our first session with them has been spent cutting out some pretty good mats, so heat was expected. The #10 blade it comes with get the coat pretty short, which was needed this time, but I'm looking forward to our next cut and purchasing a blade that gives her a little more length. They are super quiet and I am extremely impressed. This was most highly recommended across the board and I can see why!
