it's an ok brush
The handle is easy to grip which is good for my aging hands. I thought the curved brush would be beneficial but it is actually not, my old flat brush removes more fur. The self cleaning aspect is nice but problematic. You have to push on the tab in the back exactly in the middle with enough force to get the moving part to move correctly. Sometimes when you have wires that are slight bent out of place, which this brush does a lot, the moveable part gets stuck and you have to push on the wires from underneath to line them back up. Overall its not a bad brush but I would not buy it again.
Nice accessory for cat combing
This little brush is nice to get lots of loose hair off my long haired cat. He has thick fur, and being an older boy, he doesn't clean himself as well as he used to. The comb doesn't get into the under-coat, but it does remove the loose hair from on top of his fur. Since it's small and doesn't pull, my cat let's us brush him for several minutes at a time. So far the self-cleaner pad works fine. The brush isn't heavy duty, but it works great for my cat.

Great concept, not durable
I bought this to replace one that i've had for years thinking it would be better. But after a few months the bristle became misaligned with the plastic cover, rendering the product useless. Too much money to spend for only a few months use.
Excellent tool
I use this slicker several times each week. The quality is excellent, my pup loves to be brushed with it, and it makes it so easy to keep my little guy free of tangles and mats! All you need is a gentle hand to brush through his very profuse coat! The self-cleaning feature makes it easy and pain free to remove any fur caught in the pins. So glad I bought this!
Bristles medium length
The bristles are more medium length and does not reach into the deeper levels of the coat.
Best Ever Cat Brush
My cat has always loved being brushed but this new one makes him crazy. I'm not allowed to stop brushing. It works really well, taking off enough loose hair to basically make another cat. Highly reccomend.

Works like a dream
I bought this because it was self-cleaning. I had previously bought one that was not. I was surprised to find that it was MUCH larger than the previous one. It was probably designed for a dog, but it does a great job on my medium-hair 10 lb cat. She loves the feel of it, so I get total cooperation. When I am done, you just press the tab and all of the fur slides off.
