What does blocking/super blocking refer to?

Blocking blade is ideal for full clipdowns on matted dogs, free-hand shortening of coats before scissoring, blocking or skimming. Used for removing the bulk of hair and clipping pattern lines on large breeds with heavy coats. Not recommended for use directly against dog’s skin.

This blade is not compatible with the Easy Clip Versa Clipper.

Blocker blade

I like this blade although on packaging states on packaging, for advanced groomers wish it would have been on description online but I was super careful with it. I have a poodle and my groomer can’t get her in until November so her hair was so thick. Cuts through mats like butter. Chewy is the greatest place place for for all my pet needs and the customer service is unmatched.
