For a dependable, long-life blade, look no further than Andis UltraEdge blades. UltraEdge dog clipper blades are made from high-carbon steel and processed through a unique carbonizing heat treatment that actually adds carbon to the metal. Blades hold a razor sharp edge that will endure prolonged use and more sharpening treatments. Ideal for trimming between pads, around toes, narrow lines on poodle patterns. Each UltraEdge clipper blade is sharpened to exact quality standards. Hand-tested before it is shipped, blades have a Rockwell hardness rating of 65. Compatible with Andis, Conair, Oster and Wahl detachable-style clippers.

DETECT! Regular clipping makes fleas and ticks more visible!
Periodically stop grooming and remove excess hair and dirt. To clean use specialized Andis cleaners, such as Cool Care Plus. Oil as needed or recommended by manufacturer's instructions per your specific clipper.
Caring for your blades is essential in maintaining their longevity and cutting performance. Blades should be oiled after each use. If your clipper blades leave streaks or slow down, it is a sure sign they need to be oiled. Start by turning off the clipper and removing fragments of hair from the blade with a clipper brush. Clean and disinfect blades by using CoolCare Plus. Use the 5-point oiling system to lubricate your clipper and keep it running at top performance: 3 drops across the teeth of the blade and 1 drop on each back rail. After oiling, turn on and let run for 5-10 seconds to disperse the oil. Turn off and then wipe off any excess oil.
We recommend storing your blades in a low moisture environment to avoid corrosion. A padded blade storage case or pouch will help keep them safe and keep them from getting chipped or dropped which can break them or knock them out of alignment.
Blades are made of metal and oiling them will help reduce corrosion. Since the two metal blades rub against each other during operation, oiling them will also reduce friction thereby delivering better cutting performance. Oiling your blades regularly after each use is an important part ensuring your tool will cut and perform as designed.
We strongly recommend you use Andis Company clipper oil which is specially formulated for Andis clippers and trimmers. However, other clipper blade oils will also work.
We recommend that you oil your blades before and after each use. If your clipper blades leave streaks or slow down, those are signs that they need to be oiled.

Chewy has such great service! Orders are filled correctly, arrive in time or early. Prices are competitive. This is a great place to shop!
This was our first time to use our new Andis clippers, our trainer always used Oster clippers and a 10 blade. We were excited that the T84 is just a tad bit longer cut than the standard 10 blade and was buttery smooth. Clippers are very quiet. We will be ordering some extra blades to keep on hand as our warm blood mare needs to be clipped several times a year. One blade clipped a large horse effortlessly.
Qualifier: I am a novice DIY groomer, so maybe I am not aware of the specialty use of this blade. I bought it after reading several reviews and decided this blade would help me to beautify my doodle at home between grooming appointments along with the standard blade attachment I normally use. When I attached this blade to my andis base and tried it on my washed, dried, and combed out doodle's fur it was a total bust. I even took the time to oil it and make sure it was set in properly. Still no luck. Maybe it is meant for other animals? Horses? Or animals with less dense fur. In any event, it did not work at all, so I can't give it high reviews.
Been wanting one of this size for awhile, saw the price and jumped :)
