Our Beagle mix has a lick granuloma. Hope that spelling is close enough so you know what I mean. She is obsessive and frenzied when we wrap the spot, to get ther wrap off . She got this off in short order, even though we taped it at both ends
Horrible. Got for a dog who is scratching her stomach incessantly. Wrapped it around, then the bandaging shifted and it became stringy. Threw it away. Wasted money
Chewy is always quick and easy ordering and delivery. And the best prices!
This was recommended to me by some Flyball people to try wrapping feet for lure coursing. It did NOT hold up. Probably fine for regular medical use, but disappointing from a preventative sports standpoint.
Within a couple of hours after application, dog seemed to have skin irritation and color "bled" on fur/wound. Used human grade wrap in the past without any issues.
These vet wraps work great for wrapping ducks feet! Whether treating bumble foot, pressure sores or injuries. They stay on and sticks to itself as its supposed to, no tape is needed. They hold up to all terrains, don't fall apart. Even when she sneaks in the pool, with her booties on, they still hold up. I also use them for my dogs, this is one thing I always have on hand. Also, a great addition for an emergency kit, for your animals! I've used them as a compression banadge, when my dog ripped her pad. I highly recommend them, and they're a good price.
My puppy (who is technically not a puppy :) runs like crazy and constantly hurt his paw. I consistently buy these bandages because 1) they stick very good; 2) it stays on him, no matter how hard he runs until the next day when I have to change his bandage.
Bought this to wrap a wound on my dog's heel pad and I couldn't even get it off the roll. It obviously sticks to itself very well but is useless if you can't unroll it.
I love this stuff! I use it for anything - from horse wounds to human wounds - it truly is amazing. Only sticks to itself and not a wound. It also provides great support for hoof abscess where you have to diaper and duct tape - gives a great layer that is tough to walk through. Also cuts off easily when time to change!
The quality of this bandage isn't as good as the no chew bandage, this bandage is too hard to wrap on my dogs leg and doesn't stay on as long as the no chew one does.
