It’s treated with a bitterant that’s safe for pets and people but is designed to leave an unpleasant taste in the mouth of pets. With a tensile strength of 15 pounds, this premium, self-adhering cohesive bandage is resistant to abrasion and shredding, even with active pets. It’s made using woven fabric base material, linear elastic yarns and high-quality latex cohesive. Linear elastic yarns deliver consistent compression without constricting, moving or falling off over time. With superior adhesion, this bandage is sweat and water-resistant, yet is still easy to remove and won’t stick to skin or fur. Convenient and easy to use, it can be hand-torn straight and clean, so you don’t need scissors. Like all Andover products, this bandage is made in the USA, and is available in both 2-inch and 4-inch widths.

Wrap bandage at desired tension, no pre-stretching necessary. Continue wrapping bandage to completely cover the first layer at desired tensile strength. Cut bandage at desired length. Seal bandage to the bottom layer with fingernail for strong cohesive seal.
Bandage will not tighten or loosen once applied and will maintain the tension applied. It is important to pay attention to proper tension at application.
I ordered this to help keep a Castrol pack on my dogs side. When it arrived it was one solid piece. I could get it to unwrap there wasn't an easy tab or anything. So I decided to try to cut the first layer, that didn't help separate it either. So now I have a solid piece/clump of dog wrap no better use to me than a paper weight. Very disappointing
i got this incase anyone got hurt, figured it would be good to have on hand… couldnt even find where it started, it was almost like it had melted together. had to throw out..
My dog tore a nail and needed to have his bandage changed so I thought I'd try this "No Chew" wrap to see if he could go without his cone for short periods of time. No, Hugo thought nothing about whatever "deterrent" is supposed to keep them from chewing it. He didn't even sniff it. I think it's just printed with "No Chew" as a sort of suggestion to the dog, LOL. I gave it 2 stars since it does function as normal vet wrap...just not as advertised.
My dog had a sore on her leg. After using this product it took her all of 10 minutes to tear it off! It didn't deter her at all.
I bought this to cover a wound on my cats back leg to prevent him from licking off the ointment. The solution they use thats supposed to be bitter and prevent chewing does not work. He’s been biting, chewing and licking at this bandage for an hour and unwrapping it piece by piece. Disappointed :(
Our cat just had back paw surgery and the vet used this bandage and said it will just unwrap when it needed to be removed. The bandage did keep the cat from getting to its paw and protected it. But......This bandage had some kind of adhesive and would not unwrap. I had to use vegetable oil and saturate it to dissolve the adhesive but was still extremely difficult to remove, This is just an FYI incase anyone else has the same issue.
Used to cover a scab over a rash area. Held up as good as I'd hoped it would. Holds together and doesn't need additional tape around it to hold.
my dog had a severe cut on his front leg, this no chew wrap helped a great deal
The bandage itself was good but the bitter no chew must have tasted great! My lab would not leave it alone. Within the hour I had to replace it.
Was wonderful to put around cords to keep cat from chewing on cords love it for this
