Description

Protect your active stallion’s cuts, scrapes and bruises while they heal using the Andover Healthcare PowerFlex Equine Bandage. With a tensile strength of 23 pounds–nearly three times that of other brands, this premium, self-adhering cohesive bandage is highly resistant to abrasion and won’t shred. It’s made using woven fabric base material, linear elastic yarns and high-quality latex cohesive. Linear elastic yarns deliver consistent compression without constricting, moving or falling off over time. With superior adhesion, this bandage is sweat and water-resistant and works well even in cold weather, yet is still easy to remove and won’t stick to skin or fur. Convenient and easy to use, it can be hand-torn straight and clean, so you don’t need scissors. Like all Andover products, this bandage is made in the USA and comes in a variety of standard colors as well as fun prints.

    great for people too!

Years ago while dealing with an ankle injury my orthopedic doc recommended using this to tape my ankle, it’s less expensive than the same bandage for humans. My hubby loves the camo he uses it to tape his wrists for mountain bike riding.

    PowerFlex Athletic 4inch bandage

    By on

Nice size width and length for wrapping wounds. I keep 2 rolls in car just in case my dog, a lab, gets cut or needs emergency bandage while on an outing with me. Stretchy and sticks well. I know some people use this to wrap paws to protect from salt in winter. I plan to try this with my lab because boots are too hard to put on. I recommend having this first aid item on hand to be prepared in case of need.

    More than just for animals

I actually use these on my children. They are great bandages to wrap over a bandage to help hold in place. Plus my son loves the camouflage color.

    Very sticky!

These seem to be a lot stickier than any other coban wrap I've used.

    Smell weird

    By on

I purchased multiple packs of various colors but I noticed they all have a weird smell. I will not be using the ones I purchased and do not recommend them.

    PowerFlex Cohesive (self-sticking) Bandage

Chewy delivers (fast), great products at highly competitive prices! I purchase PowerFlex 4" bandage/wrap & Bandage shears thru Chewy. Chewy customer service, delivery and products are fabulous! 'Powerflex Athletic Bandage' is a super product recommended by my breeder and other dog sport enthusiasts. My dog was getting a little carpal joint tendonitis, from his daily workout. My vet suggested wrapping him prior to his fitness workouts (he runs a few power laps both directions daily). No more tendonitis! My vet also explained that it is important to 'cut off' bandage not attempt to unwind, which can do harm straining soft tissue. Chewy has a top notch bandage shear at really reasonable cost Chewy delivers (fast), great products at highly competitive prices! I purchase PowerFlex 4" bandage/wrap & Bandage shears thru Chewy.
