My white and apricot Cavapoo has terrible tear stain and even some stain around her mouth. I was using the Angel Eyes wipes and a fine come for the eyes and clipping the hair right under her eyes. While it helps with build up I was unable to get the reddish stains cleaned up, even through the groomers. I saw these and tried them. She's been taking one a day for the past few weeks and with the wipes, I'm seeing improvement. I hope after the next groom, must of the stain is gone and we will be able to keep it clean with the chews and wipes. Note too, she has a "sensitive" stomach requiring a prescription dog food. I believe that has played a part in the staining...the new food seems to help lessen it as well.
My 7-year-old Beagle has struggled with runny eyes for several years. She's an indoor pet, mostly. I saw Angels' Eyes advertised on Chewy, while ordering dog food so I decided to give it a try. Within 2 days, the runny eyes reduced immensely! I have no problem with "Ellen" eating the soft chews twice a day. She loves them. If your pet has runny eyes, you must try Angels' Eyes!
Angels' Eyes is a great product for my toy poodles. They love the taste and it keeps their faces clear of tear stains.
My little chihuahua mix has always had a lot of problems with what we call booger eyes. Not just normal tearing but smelly red staining goop around her inner eyes and cheeks. Decided to give these a try. Amazing. We noticed improvement right away, and, after just a few weeks, the smelly staining goo is gone. She still has her natural tears that clean easily with a damp cloth as they should. But no more stinky booger eyes. Will put on auto ship. Good product and worth the price. Highly recommend.
I tried these for several months and they did not work. I also changed diet and they still did not help. I have a male Pom-Maltese, 10 years old. He also takes a multi-vitamin and is very healthy.
I've been feeding these daily chews to my 10 month old fawn Chihuahua-mix rescue for about a month and a half. I've also been consistently using the Angel Eyes wipes daily before bed. I've definitely seen improvement, but not like the old recipe of Angels Eyes which is discontinued and now requires an rX from the vet. I'll continue to use them and finish the container. I'm hoping for more improvement, otherwise I might consider the other "non-natural" version or changing up her food.
My Austin hated these. He could not stand the taste even when they were disguised. His tear stains did improve but I just could not torture him each day by continuing to give them to him.
Purchased 2 containers to my dismay my shihpoo threw up everytime I tried giving one to her-she is 11 lbs so I gave her 1/2! I am now breaking 1/2 and adding to her soften food-so far so good!
She only smells it and walks away. I even tried putting it the food she likes with it. she likes.
I've tried both Angel Eyes chewy and wipes on my 1 1/2 year old Maltese, for the amount of weeks recommend. They did nothing! I used the old formula on my Bichon many years ago and it worked great, they took out the ingredient that made it work.
