    Great product.

I feed raw and this a well known brand. I need to add calcium to Rio's diet. Chewy was quick sending out my order and I'm very pleased with their service.

    Great product

    By on

A calcium supplement is essential if you make home-cooked dog food. This particular supplement was recommended by a holistic vet and I am very happy with it. I add 1/2 teaspoon (500mg) to each meal, my dog eats 2x/day, and she's doing great. The powder is finely ground and she doesn't even know it's mixed in with her food. I plan on having her calcium level checked at her next vet visit so I can be sure she's receiving the correct amount. She just turned one and I want to make sure she is receiving the proper amount of calcium for her growth potential.

    Wonderful product!

This is really easy and convenient. We were grinding eggshells to add to Tenney's food...messy and a little time consuming. With this product, the work is all done for you. Highly recommend!

Have to use a lot more than recommended

    By on

My dog has been raw fed with bone meal for years. Dr Pitcairn recommended this product so I tried it. I need to use at least 2 tablespoons for a 40 pound dog vs 1 teaspoon of bone meal.

    Homemade dog food

    By on

If you make homemade dog food or add food to pre-made, this is the one I have been using since 2009 or 2008. All you do is weigh the food and add the proper amount to the food mix.

    Good Product

    By on

We started making dog food a few months ago and needed to add a good source of calcium. A friend who has been making her own dog food suggested this brand. Everything seems good so far. The proof will be in the long haul. We'll let you know the final decision.

    Basically chalk dust

    By on

I bought this brand because it didn't contain Vitamin D, but this powder doesn't contain a measuring scoop or measuring instructions for making small portions. If you want just plain calcium powder, this is it, although plant-based calcium is more difficult to absorb than other forms.
