Husky diagnosed with cataracts
By Linda on Feb 3, 2021
2 years ago my 7 year old Husky was diagnosed with cataracts starting in both eyes I took it upon myself to start these vitamins after reading many reviews. 2 years later and his vision is still maintained and has not seemed to progress. I truly believe these vitamins have helped save my boys eye sight. They are pricy vitamins but in my opinion very worth it. The pills are large and can not be chewed so unfortunately I have to force him to take them but it’s definitely worth it.

Preservision for Canines
By LVLady on Feb 1, 2021
My 20# -14 year old terrier mix started having eyesight problems a couple of months back and we took her for testing. She doesn't have cataracts just age related retinal thinning so specialty vet doctor recommended these eye vitamins. Wish that I had know about them a couple of years back as I would definitely would have started her on them long ago.

Gelcaps too large for smaller dogs
By Ocuglo on Jan 2, 2021
The directions say to have the dog swallow the gelcap. The caps are large and my medium size dog, couldn't get them down without choking. After 3 days of wrestling to get the capsule down, I found the chewables on the site and ordered them. Also of the gel cap punctures the contents will stain the dogs fur. The gelcaps may be easier for larger dogs. Now I am stuck with a bottle of gel caps I will never use.

seems to be helping
By kathleen on Oct 29, 2020
Emily is a 15 year old Russell terrior who is diabetic, has Cushings, thyroid disease and is allergic to most proteins. she was blind for 6 months before getting cataract surgery. After 18 months, her vision seemed to dim-bumping in to things, resisting going down stairs, etc. after a check, we were told to add Ocu-Glo to the treatment regimen and after a few weeks, she seems to be better able to distinguish objects and is looking up into the light for the first time in quite awhile. Thanks for helping, Ocu-Glo!

Good product
By Bunter on Jan 1, 2021
I purchased the ocu-glo and several were leaking which leaked over all the other tabs and made it difficult for our dog to take I assume due to the taste.

Bright color when popped! Don’t be alarmed!
By SqueakyBalls on Sep 3, 2020
My two dachshunds ophthalmologist recommended this supplement for one of my dachshunds who has an eye disease / degeneration at the back of his eyes causing cataracts. The large size is HUGE and way too big for him to swallow. This small size is perfect for him though. NOTE the small and large size is a different dose! He is close to 20 pounds so he technically needs the larger dose, but the pill is too big. As of the time of the review my dogs doctor said he could take two of the smalls to equal one of the larger. That is now what we’re doing. PLEASE consult your dogs doctor first before doing this. Especially since the dosage may change by the manufacturer. As for it working, it’s hard to say since by the time we started these his eyes were already getting worse. Even when I adopted him he already had depth trouble. However, I do think it’s worth a try! Start at the first sign of trouble and consult your dogs doctor. We are also doing a topical that was recommended now in addition. When these dissolve they are BRIGHT RED inside. No cause for concern. … more
