My cat randomly got diarrhea, which is not common for her. Of course she was going outside the box since she did not feel good, so I started giving her probiotics. The probiotics stopped the diarrhea, but she was suddenly urinating all over my house. The only thing I can assume it was is the probiotics because again, this is not normal behavior for her. I waited a couple days, and it continued. I stopped giving her the probiotics and starting giving her this. The urinating outside the litter box almost stopped immediately. I don't know if it was the Uromaxx, or stopping the probiotics, but I am assuming both. I've been giving it to her for about 2 weeks, and this last week going to give her half dose, and then stop and see what happens. I've used this in the past with success, and I believe it worked again this time. I also got my cat a new much bigger litter box, so maybe the combination of everything helped.
My cats loved it, but I was giving it to them for nearly a week unrefrigerated before seeing the TINY AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY MINISCULE disclaimer to refrigerate after opening. It was so missable and could have made my pets extremely sick. Not to mention it smells like vomit. Don’t even bother with this stuff.
I got this for my small dog who is prone to UTI and crystals thinking "bacon flavor" can't go wrong! WRONG. Whoever thinks bacon smells like liquid dog poop needs serious help. Since my dog doesn't eat her own feces she wouldn't go near it and looked at me like I had ruined her food and was poisoning her! On the other hand, my other dog who does sometimes eat his own poop had no trouble cleaning her dish for her. Complete waste of money.
I have only managed to get a tiny amount into my cat at a time, as this stuff smells horrible (like chicken poop) and my cat hates it. I'm not sure if it helps with urinary health, but it does smell nasty.
Since I have been using UroMAXX my female dog no longer has problems with urine crystals or infections. I use it daily, much cheaper than needles in the bladder for samples, antibiotics and vet fees. Given per my holistic vet. Regular vets would probably rather go with needles, antibiotics and vet fees.
I highly recommend this product. My cat started showing signs of a UTI, so I decided to give her this product since I already had it on hand for my dog who also suffers from UTIs. It didn’t take very long to start working and for her UTI symptoms to go away. She usually gets one once or twice a year and hates the expensive prescription cat food, so this is a great alternative. I continue to give her this product daily to help prevent a UTI from coming back. It’s helped so far. This has been a lifesaver for me and my animals.
I have two cats. One (the boy) has chronic UTI infections. Both share special food for this. Sometimes when another cat is visiting my female also has symptoms. I keep this in the fridge at all times. When we are expecting a visitor I start putting it in their food. Once a day with their dry food. They both like it and saves on symptoms coming back.
My cat will not even go near his food if i put this in it, which makes me mad because it was almost $30. I can’t say if other cats will feel the same because they all have different taste preferences.
Both cat/dog will not eat. Cat-no surprise . Dog-this stuff has to be yucky. Tall slim bottle with dropper is NOT a good idea. Leaks everywhere.
My vet was very impressed with ingredients, but wants me to wait for next check to see if current treatment is working on his bladder crystals. Plan on starting this at that point.
