    Great for underweight dogs!

    By on

I have 4 highly active dogs who I hike and work everyday. My youngest dog (she’s a Lurcher)who is 2yrs old, is a bit underweight and needs quite a few extra calories to keep her weight up. She loves this powder mixed in with her meals and I noticed a BIG instant difference! Only concern I would have is that it smells fishy and if you have a picky eater it may not like this! Otherwise I recommend it 100%!

    It’s probably a great product.

It takes so much, my dog won’t eat it. ( I have a small dog & hes pretty picky anyway. Probably not a good basis for review.

    Great For Hard Keepers!!

    By on

I have been super happy with this supplement! My dog is an active working dog + a hard keeper, and maintaining a healthy weight has been an ongoing struggle. Impact has helped quite a bit in that regard :) She is already on fish oil and another coat supplement, but I still noticed improvement in her coat after she'd been eating this for a bit.

    HORRIBLE CRAP

    By on

I have 20 dogs and not a single one will eat ANYTHING with this stuff on it, not even raw hamburger. And I mean ANY, let alone a full scoop which is huge and like a full cup. No way!!!

    Saw No Gains

My SAR K9, a 1.5 year old German Shepherd, has an EXTREMELY high metabolism and it has been a process trying to keep weight on her. She comes from an old working German line, and is very tiny. Most days she barely holds on to 40lbs and is 19in at the shoulder but is pure muscle and work ethic and will go all day long if you let her. The vet says she is completely healthy but I always worry about her calorie consumption and how much she uses up while working so I began searching for something to add to her diet that may help combat this issue. I found the Annamaet Impact and I was excited to try it. I found the Annamaet Impact and I was excited to try it. Adding the Annamaet to her current diet upped it to just over 1500 calories a day, more on working/training days. I was sincerely hoping that it would add on some weight but after over a month on the recommended dose (and even a little bit more at times) she is no closer to covering those ribs with some extra fat. It did not affect her energy level or recovery time, and I did not notice a huge difference in coat quality either (perhaps a bit softer but she is also on Omegas). She's been off the Annamaet for about a month now and she looks the same as before I put her on it so obviously it didn't make that much of a difference for her. On the plus side, she LOVED the taste of it and had no problem eating it (to me it smells like fish). I usually mixed it in with her food and added water to make it mushy. For the price and not noticing any difference in the time frame I had her on this supplement, I would not purchase this product again. Perhaps it may work for non-working dogs or even for hunting dogs that are used mostly seasonally, but for a working dog of this caliber it just didn't cut it. … more

It's only been a week and I can see a difference in his weight already. He's a 35lb dog but I give him a full scoop cause his weight was down bad...

Palatable supplement for my senior dog

    By on

In under a month of use, it seems to be putting weight on him, and he likes it. It came recommended on many forums.

    My dogs hated it

We ordered the $50 container and our dogs wouldn't go near it. Chewy will not take it back or offer any sort of compromise once the product is opened for any reason.

    Annamaet Impact.

I'm seeing great improvement in coat condition, body condition and energy level from my 1 1/2 y.o. GSD. He was unable to maintain a decent body weight and his coat was brittle with excessive shedding. Impact has really made a difference.
