    Third try at Puppy food

    By on

My cavapoo’s poops are finally normal and firm. I tried Royal Canin as his vet recommended but it made his poop to wet I think the fact that Annamaet has no corn, wheat or gluten is the key!

good quality often out of stock

    By on

I purchased this dog food when my malamute pup had soft stool eating Solid Gold. This dog food solved the problem and I am absolutely love and trust this brand because the founder RD is knowledgeable and experienced with sled dogs. The only problem is that this brand is difficult to find in local retailers as well as it is often out of stock on chewy and doesn’t have autoship discount.

Like the Food Don’t Like the Kibble Size for Small Dogs

    By on

My first bag was the tiny kibble pieces, which were perfect for my Cavalier pup. The next bag had the larger sized kibble. It was a problem as that the puppy was loosing her baby teeth and her adult teeth were coming in. She had trouble with eating the larger pieces since her mouth was sore. I had to crush the kibble so she could eat it. The larger size kibble is fine for larger breeds, but not for small dogs. I need another bag and have not decided whether to buy this puppy food again for that reason.

    By on

We have a 9 month old lab. She has been on this brand puppy food since we switched her over at 10 weeks. She has done great both in body condition and coat is amazing. Very happy with this food. Only complaint is hard to find local seller.

    Puppy's New Favorite Food

    By on

My hound/rottie mix pup loves this kibble. The size is fine and I think only some people with tinier dogs struggle with the bigger pieces, but for my large breed fairly active puppy, the protein to fat ratio is perfect. The size is also great for her. I actually like the bigger kibble pieces since it slows down her eating. The food smelled like quality dog food upon opening the bag and my dog hasn't had any sort of bad digestion during her fairly quick transition from Fromm Whitefish and Potato.

    large kibbles

    By on

I have purchased the 5lb bag many times from a local shop and the kibbles were a good size for a puppy (small) but the kibbles in the 12 lb bag were probably 3 times the size which was ok for my basset puppy but may be a problem for a smaller dog. The food itself is of good quality.

    Great ingredients.

    By on

Bought this food for my new puppy (med sized, 30-35 pounds at maturity). The kibbles are TOO BIG. So I have had to soak them so that my puppy can eat them.

    Healthy food!

    By on

We’ve been using this food for several months, for our 6 month old labradoodle. I like that it is well rated and contains healthy, balanced ingredients, made by a company that takes nutrition seriously. Puppy is doing very well on it. Took off 1 Star bc puppy doesn’t love it. We have to entice him to eat some days by adding a bit of topper. He’s super healthy with very regular digestion, but he’s not particularly excited by the food,

    Size change ruined it

    By on

Like previous reviewer, the change in pellet size has made this unsat for my small cardigan. She is only 14 lbs now and cannot chew and digest the huge pellets. Her first bag was fine. Wish they would go back to original. I am now looking for alternate brand
