This complete and balanced diet is ideal for Plecostomus, Ancistrus, Otocinclus and other algae-eating fish. It contains nutritionally-enhanced protein, a rich blend of algae, omega-3 fatty acids and alfalfa for maximum digestion and produces up to 30% less ammonia. The more nutrients your fish digests, the less waste and ammonia are released, resulting in cleaner and clearer water. Featherfin catfish approves of these

Great little snack for my Featherfin Catfish (squeaker catfish). He seems to eat these up just as fast as any other brand. Only bought these because the other brand was out of stock but I May keep buying these.

Bottom feeders like them

I did find a better kind than these my otos will eat but these work for my snails, shrimp, Gara, and cories.

Sinks right down

I was using crumbled food for my pleco's but it would float and the cichlids would eat most of it. These wafers sink right to the bottom so the pleco's get a shot at them too

2.5 Oz is TINY PELLETS

The 2.5 Oz. Container had TINY pellets (think betta sized food) NOT LARGE! Waste of money!

Much better

The tabs I have been using for a long time always clouded the water for several hours after feeding. API wafers don't do that and the fish love them. The two Plecos I have are several years old now and they are thriving on these wafers.
