These filtration pads are designed to fit API FILSTAR XP canister filters. We do not recommended cutting them.

how many on the box. is it 30?

There are 2 filtration pads in the pack that should be used together. 30ppi represents the amount of pores per inch in the filter.

This is a great product. I use them in my 75 gallon gold fish tank. I have two filstar large filters running into the tank. I wish you would stock the Micro Filtration along with the super micro. I have three large goldfish and a large sucker fish and with the goldfish aquarium cleaner my tank is staying clear and no more slime in the in take and out let lines.

I use these in my filter and they work wonderfully. I have had problems finding them locally though so thanks Chewy for carrying them!
